As an Idahoan, I can explain a bit about the scarcity of power plants here. The most of Northern Idaho is comprised of heavily forested mountains (much of which is a part of the Boise National Forest). This makes large constructs like power plants difficult to build. Where you do see some power plants in the southern part of the state is mostly along the largest river in the state being the Snake River. South of that, there is a fair bit of open plains where you might find a few wind turbines as you drive through the windy valley towards Utah.

I think that a lot of the reason mars has such extreme geological features is precisely because it's so small. It has less gravity and thus less force pulling into a tighter, more exact sphere. It's more free to be less regular than the earth.

Esperanto is actually a unique language in that it didn’t develop naturally, but was actually constructed to unite everyone under a single, easy to learn language. It is the most widely spoken ConLang (constructed language) and it even has 2,000 native speakers, weird as that is.

Yes, but most importantly, there's not a lot of people and factories that need electricity. And since power cables always get a little bit warm when electricity runs through them, there's a limited range how far you can transfer it before nothing comes out the other end. That's actually the biggest problem with wind power. The best places to put wind turbine are usually places far away from industrial areas.

Mars doesn't have much of an atmosphere or precipitation so surface features aren't eroded like they are on Earth, allowing them to be massive without much change over time. Also, Mars doesn't have any oceans hiding land formations like Earth does (Earth's longest mountain range is hidden by the Atlantic Ocean, for example)

BUT it's not as clear how many people in DRC actually speak French compared to the ~55M people in France that speak French natively. I'm sure there are also other smaller languages that have bigger communities outside of their own territories, but I don't think none hold an official or majority status.

Fun fact: finnish language, hungarian language and estonian language are related. In finland we call the "suomalais-ukrilainen" language group translates roughly to finnish-hungarian. Reason for that is apparently that people from Ural mountains thousands of years ago started wondering toward europe and founded homes around current hungary, estonia and finland. (This is at least what they teach us in Finland...)

Based on what I read Aragonés IS a language, not a dialect from Spanish, so it can be included there. Not sure about Leonés, but I've heard people say it is a language as well. But I'm sure there were many European languages missing in that graph.

Because more people consider Valencian a language spoken in Spain but for example when I learnt that in school they only reached. Spanish (Castilian), basque, Catalan, gallego, and Valencian.
