I fish a certain area of Idaho every year and it’s way out in the boonies. Ran into a couple guys at a trailhead whose rental truck was dead, couldn’t jump it, nada. They needed a ride into the nearest town which was 50 miles and nobody around so I took them out of the backcountry to get help. I believe in karma so I’d hope someone would do the same for me one day 👍🏼. Always enjoy the videos, keep ‘em’ coming and Happy Holidays!

Dang, watching this video is more relaxing (and satisfying for that matter) than watching a Bob Ross painting show

I absolutely love love love that entire drainage. I’ve never been disappointed with the fishing. It gets crowded on the weekends in July/August but midweek is great most of the time.

I live in N Idaho and I would put our streams and rivers against any . Liver in Colorado, Utah and Montana . All have amazing fishing but Idaho is unmatched in my opinion. Love the videos. Dont know if you have done up the NFork of the Clearwater and Kelly creek but you should

The Southfork, Henry's and Madison were my backyard for years. N Idaho is new home and the only place that compares are places in Wyoming. Tight lines!

Drew I love your videos. The accuracy you show when you’re placing a fly in a tight spot with overhanging brush is awesome. I need small streams with low water. Were you always using a dry dropper rig? I enjoyed watching you fishing with your friend Brian. Drew, have you ever fished the Arkansas river in Colorado which I fished a long time ago when I was in the military I fished it below Colorado Springs. It was an awesome river at that time. Take care. Hope you have a wonderful holiday.

I like your videos, man, but the sound of that rod or whatever is making that squeaking grinding sound is terrible. You should either oil that thing or don’t shoot with that rod. The footage is top-notch though. Just that audio I couldn’t get past after about 10 minutes. I had to turn it off every time you had a fish on that noise gave me the willies

I am a dentist, and the sound of the line reminds me of work😂
@dalehill612710 сағат бұрын
I think that's just the sound that a fly line always makes when you're taking up the slack and drawing in a fish without using the reel. Handlining is much faster than a fly reel and once you've got a fish on it's imperative to keep your rod tip up and your line pretty taut or else the fish will whizz into the nearest structure and snap your leader. They're not stupid.😊👍🏻

Normal sounds man. It's not that pronounced in reality. The mic is really amplifying the sound the fly line is making against his tension finger while pulling in a fish.

@@tomdemianvingsgard4532 That makes sense. I hope you realize I wasn’t trying to be rude. I just didn’t know if you noticed that or not. I am also now curious why my fly rod does not make those noises. Maybe it’s something with the type of line you are using.
