Size of the creek has NOTHING to do with the size of the trout. I caught one of my biggest Trout in a Mtn. creek no wider than 6-8 feet wide. or deeper than two feet deep in eastern Oregon.

Is there any way to find out where you are fishing and what flies you are using?

Hi Drew, Quick question about your Western US KZbin videos these past several years (Idaho, Mt, Wyoming, New Mex): What percent of your fishing time are you wearing chest waders on these waters? It seems that you just wear long pants and hiking boots? Thanks! Keep up the great work! We learn a lot from you!
@LooknFishyКүн бұрын
I never wear waders out west. I would if I went in October or later...but summer into early fall I wet wade

Would the Perdigon fly pattern work in the streams and rivers of Arizona’s high country, or are the aquatic insects different here 🌵 than in Montana, WY, and Idaho? Thanks! 🎣🙏🏻

how many trucks do you have. and witch is the best for doing what you do. could you pull a camper 26feet long with one of them. what kind of miles do you get. love your show. Dick Billing

So in the first five minutes of this upload where the camera is pretty still there is no pixilation. When you start walking down the trail and the camera is in motion the pixilation starts....and keeps going and going ...
@540chevhell95 күн бұрын
Love absolutely love what you do but your videos are still pixilating every 10-40 seconds. I've reviewed so many other outdoors channels that show similar type of footage that don't have this issue! Is there a setting on your camera or your production that is causing this?

Went to AZ to pick up my daughter from college this past weekend and my buddy down there caught wind that I was in town. Went bass fishing and talk about fun. 6 each guy at 2-5 lbs. Good stuff Drew!

Drew, these have been great. I'm living vicariously through you, quick question I've been following the Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming videos. Question do you need a fishing license for each state that you are fishing In. Though I can't imagine a fish and game officer out in the middle of nowhere where you fish, but you never know. Thanks..

I’ve been fly fishing for 40 years and that’s one of the most beautiful spots I’ve seen. The visibility in that water and those fish. Full package. Looks a lot like some of the spots I’ve fished in my backyard in BC. Thanks for sharing 🙏

I do a lot of bass fishing on the fly rod, but want to start fishing that real tight cover with a bait caster, What's your setup for stuff like that? EPIC LARGIE
@mrblueskynm39686 күн бұрын
Dang! That was a heck of a bass! You know, I started following you for your fly fishing out here in the West, but your kayak bass fishing is outstanding! I like bass fishing too, but I don't have a lot of experience bass fishing, mostly fly fishing for trou in NM and CO. I caught my biggest large mouth bass from my kayak last week (19"). It was HUGE for the lake I was fishing here in northern NM. Keep the content coming!!!

Nice bass drew! You say those bowfins are a pain, I used to fish a private bass lake that was full of pike, those are also a pain, but they fight like crazy. Enjoyed watching. 👍

I been up to Wisconsin to chase pike and they are crazy fun...super aggressive and fight hard! I've seen some vids of people targeting bowfin on the fly and it looks like fun..I'd do it!
