Something that never crossed my mind til just now... the trout must be mind blown when we start bringing em in after setting the hook. Could you imagine being a trout, eating bugs like you do every day, then all of a sudden you bite a tiny fly and are like, "HOW IN THE WORLD IS THIS TINY BUG SO STRONG THAT IT CAN PULL ME UPSTREAM???!!!!" 😆

It's a cold, dreary and dark day here in Wisconsin. You video certainly brightened up my day! Those Emerald Green pools look fantastic. What an incredible stream. Thanks Drew!

I'd like to see yearly updates about your car camping setup because it seems to improve every year.

Is it just me or do others watch your dry and when it's hit or moves yell out " Now!" 😂 Like I'm your fishing guide. Lol 😊 Thanks for another soothing vid my man. Absolutely beautiful as always. 👍

Oh yes, me too, every time - and Drew never disappoints. He strikes at the right second and then we hear that so-familiar whistle as he handlines it in. Love these vids!😀

Another really good video. That dry hit at 20:28 looked like a bass blowing up on a topwater.

love you vids and amazing fishing as always! Curious what shoes you wear for the long hikes in and wet wading?

outstanding video dude! It is nice to know there are still places that trout like and people aren't around. You fish how I used to. I'm pushing 70 and don't have the range anymore, but I still get out there. looking forward to your next one!

Great video. Would be cool if you showed the flies you’re using.

Love these longer videos, Drew. Great trip so far. Just wondering if you run into many ticks out there in Idaho.

What a beautiful stream that first one was. Plenty of nice, deep holes in it. You were fishing quite shallow though. I wonder, Drew, now you were with a friend, but you're traveling/camping usually most of the time all alone, you never felt anxious to being robbed?
