This was definitely the hardest of the last 4 winter camping vlogs to film! Hope you guys enjoy though and thanks for all the support. I am putting together a Q/A later this month so comment any questions you guys have about my life on the road, photography, filmmaking or just general questions about myself! Will be answering the top 10-15 most asked. I get asked a ton how I find camp spots and I've recently been using DYRT. They are doing 3 months free for their premium features if you use code "drew90". Thanks for all the support! thedyrt.com/pro?tap_a=84498-3...

This was DOPE (as always). I’m always so impressed by your dedication to getting a million different interesting angles and I can’t imagine how much extra effort it was in that weather haha. I’d love to know how you spend your days when you’re not filming (maybe a day in the life, if it’s something different to what you show here?). Also I’m sure there’s plenty to keep you occupied but I’m curious whether you ever get lonely/bored being by yourself so much, and also what your thoughts are on campgrounds vs, wild camping (pros and cons, preferences, etc). Excited to set out in my Jeep in April! You’ve given me a ton of build/travel/camping inspo to go off of so thank you heaps for all that you share!

I typically don't watch KZbin camper videos that are over 30 minutes long, but once I started this one, I did not want to stop because of the scenes, choice of music and the sense of peacefulness solitary living brings with it. I am 73 and this is the kind of life I would like to live for the rest of my life. However, that is not going to happen because of the many commitments and responsibilities I have. But videos like this let me live vicariously through the life others live, and for now, that's about as good as it gets. Drew . . . do this for as long as you can, and enjoy each new adventure. I know there is an income aspect of your life that isn't emphasized in your videos and is a necessity, keep living the good life.

This is such a sweet and wise comment that reached over 200 people. Thank you for letting us reflect on what's important in life. It's not material things (although they help us and are convenient). It teaching our children the value of hard work, that the best things in life are free. and that amusement parks and fancy designer bags are the end all be all. But is the quality of life.

Remember a watching a previous winter sub freeze truck camper who used a goal zero 1500x portable power station and a electric dc small heating pad to put into his sleeping bag and stayed warm in similar conditions. The camper reported it worked great and provided a warm comfortable sleep through the cold night. no fumes no fire risk and you can boost the goal zero with the car 12 volt outlet on your trips into town etc .

Hey Drew I don’t know if you will see this comment but I am going through a hard time in my life right now and your video brought me back down to reality. It shows how beautiful the world is and how blessed we are. The morning shots with the drone nearly brought a tear to my eye. Seriously man, good video.

Tip: save a bit of the pasta water to put into the sauce- makes it extra delicious!

Mhmm gonna have to try that next time!

Boil the pasta in broth til its all absorbed, makes it sooo creamy & delicious. Don’t boil in water & drain. This is a cooking tip that you’ll be glad you know, try it & you’ll see👍 (if you don’t have broth just use water til its covered).
