Right?! There was a whole section that I cut out of the video for pacing reasons where I go off on these AI chatbots seemingly being good at providing empty praise or validation and not much else.

While not making the best choreo, I could see it being used for someone wanting to just practice the skill of getting choreo down with variable difficulties. Often the videos online cover a variety of skill levels and, as you've frequently pointed out, there is often little to no focus on footwork

Could be. Even then, the instructions the AI gave me were super vague. If you don't have a background in jazz dance, how many people getting these instructions would even know what a step touch was? This isn't to say this tool will never be useful, just that in its current form LLM's regurgitating text around dance doesn't appear to be super helpful to anyone who doesn't already have a background in it just yet.

This routine is very interesting thank you for sharing this. AI technology is very tricky literally. Love the routine it came up with but not a crazy fan of this song either. Love your twist on the tricks you did in the chereo to make it more of your own dance style.

This was SO interesting, Drex! At first, I was excited, thinking this might be an AI tool I might try, but now I don't know..... I think it would be hard for me to go back and forth to read the instructions and keep going, being that I'm visually impaired. At any rate, I wanted to say that YOU make much better choreography on your own! That AI was fun, and interesting, but you do so much better on your own. My pleasure! I keep seeing people say “this is the worst AI will ever be!” but I’ve yet to see much evidence that it’ll get significantly better than this, either. 🤷‍♂️
