My old sleep number pillow from 20 years ago lasted 15 years.. I have been through every tempur pedic, sleep number, and various other pillows... NOTHING has come close to it. I even talked to the manager at sleep number, she said yeah sorry we don't make that technology anymore. It was the softest pillow I've ever felt. I got the Tempur pedic cloud, the one at the mattress store was soft, then the one that got delivered to me seemed to be the new version... More supportive, not as soft. Then randomly I saw the same pillow at bed bath and beyond but in a different package.. When i felt it it was noticeably softer. So i bought it and returned the other one.... Soft as can be... But still not like my 20 year old pillow. The journey continues... Sad face.

Both sides are not the same. If it says rain upside down then it is firmer and if the words are right side up then that side is the plush side. You would probably fit the lightning better or try each of them and then decide. I dont reccomend making an investment like that with out testing. I work at a furniture store that sells this so I may know more than the average joe on this but testing oroducts should be common knowledge. But either way you got a great pillow. I recommend going to a furniture store where they are trained to fit you to your size pillow.

I have used My Pillow for over 10 years. I have always gone back to it after trying so many. No neck or head issues. I bought a new mattress and the stores have bedgear as a tryout. I did like it was cooler but it had a bouncier fill to it. Nit sure if beadgear is worth paying for.

Forgot the mist 0.0 thunder 1.0 lightening 2.0 and rain 3.0. Bedgear has others depending on how you sleep as well. Including sheets and other stuff. I love mine had it for oh about a week. I have 2 the mist 0.0 and thunder 1.0 thicker. It's like this 0.0 is the thinnest 1.0 is thicker 3.0 being the thickest. This video is the thickest pillow so maybe he just got the wrong pillow. Go to a matress store and try out the pillows. Just like buying a matress you have to try them out. I did. And usually the pillows are cheaper there then on long retail at bedgear itself. They are 99 dollars where I bought mine conlins furniture in mt. Anyway there are lots of other pillows that cool but none like this because the pillow is not solid it lets you adjust fluff or flatten out the material, gel memory foam pieces inside. I love it. I sleep on the mist and as a person who sleeps on his side. An average person would like the thunder 1.0or lightening 2.0 not the rain 3.0 it obviously is for a large wide shoulder person. So the vid guy needs to go to a less dense pillow. He says he got it because it was the thickest or fullest. Does not mention if he actually tried it first. Jus like I said go to a matress store and try one. Obviously you try your bed first right.?? So why not your pillow(s). I rate it 5 stars out of five but warning do not put a pillow case on them put a nylon cover instead usually around 10 dollars it's thin and breathable. That way you protect the pillow from dirt etc... And it lets the pillow work to keep you cool. If you put a actually pillow case on it does not work as well. Just my thoughts. They look like mesh with very tiny holes and work good with this pillow. 5 stars out of 5 thanks.

I have had the Rain pillow for several years, just bought the Rain 3.0 & I am so dissatisfied with it. The 3.0 is not nearly as firm as my previous pillow. When I lie down my head just sinks into it, no support at all for my head/neck. I wish I could find the pillow like my previous one, just Rain without any numbers following the name.

I would take them to the cleaners. I have them well sealed in two pillowcases so I have not had to launder them just yet!

It frayed a little bit but it is clean👍 I called them up and they said don't wash them just spot clean them. That's a joke spot cleaning I'll never buy another one😞
