Correct. Bone shape is the most overlooked indicator of facial ageing. That's why 60 year olds with fat transfer and no wrinkles still look old. Their bones have grown outwards, hollowing out their eye sockets and mouth region. Also, their skulls get bigger and that also gives their age away.

The main Goal is to be healthy, then looks. I am 50+ but I look around 24 or so Im told every day XD by literally everyone, I started skin care at 14 after breakouts of acne and I keep myself moving I do a lot a lot for my whole body, face, inner health. I am very mixed race and that helps too. But in the end, Is all about skin care (sunscreen, retinol, moisturizers are your best friends) , healthy eating is key, as I said keeping yourself healthy over all is more important than looks, the looks come on their own. My father and his mother and her mother practiced skin care even before it was a thing. He taught me about this when I was younger. If the inside is healthy, it will show outside and you can start taking care of yourself at any age. I do two hours of exercise eat mainly protein and veggies, do face yoga and massages, use natural skin car and have a skin care routine. Natural is best if you have the time. The clothing you wear is also important as well as your hair style and makeup if you wear something from say 30 years ago people will assume you are older. Anyone can look 5- 10 - 20 years younger with just a bit of effort just keep being positive, don't focus on the negativity of others, there are toxic people everywhere that would want to hurt you with their comments, people will never be satisfy they will try to put you down weather you look younger or older and that is on them because they are insecure sad and pathetic... so surround yourself with positivity every day and never give up! you can do it! everyone can! Hugs and good luck!

To be honest, this is not youth this is more like a weird look.Sun screen is 1# when it comes to avoid aging. However when it comes to reverse aging, I probably have tried almost everything to look younger + delay aging as much as possible, anything from face exercises, vitamin C serum, Fraxel, collagen supplements and of course Retin A (7 years straight), home devices and what not. However, nothing made any real difference compared to the high-quality derma pen I purchased for around 100 bucks. Within 3 months of use, my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. I don't look like I'm 18 again, but definitely not 44 either. My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less are nonexist (Never had jowls though). People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin and instead spending thousands on useless creams (Again, not speaking on sun screen which is the most important thing), or other cosmetic producers instead of changing habits such as no AIcohoI, no smking, never sleep on the side of the face, drink plenty of water, daily sun screen, avoid sugar, exercise and mind your own business haha.

If you look up older raw foodists, some of them look incredibly young, vital, and glowing. It’s the huge amount of natural micronutrients, structured water in raw foods, active electrical charge (“Vitamin Chi”), and especially natural Vitamin C ≠ Ascorbic Acid, that keeps the face looking young with ongoing collagen production and hydration. Collagen from animals is where they sequester environmental toxins which don’t care if the animal is labeled “organic grass fed” or not. Eventually all those toxins will catch up with a person and cause all kinds of damage and illness. Also, for those wanting to lose weight or calorie restrict the hidden secret is low calorie / high nutrient foods (which means plant based.) If you start your day with a fresh green juice or smoothie with a tablespoon of organic wheat grass powder, you’ll notice your body just doesn’t get hungry because you’ve given it all the nutrients it wants. It’s my belief that a big part of obesity / hunger is our body telling us we still don’t have what we need food-wise because we’re just eating food that’s d3ad in terms of nutrients, processing, cooking, and/or dead animals.

I would take as many collagen supplements as you can on a daily basis. I was in the same position as you as I wanted to achieve that almost unattainable goal of posing for body profile photos in my mid 40s. Before I started my training and diet routine, though, I was taking 3 different kinds of collagen supplements in the morning, a marine collagen booster powder to add to my protein shake post-workout and also a collagen infused pomegranate jelly snack daily as a supplement as a dessert after dinner. My face never hollowed out or sagged even after all that weight loss and even to this day people think I look like I’m in my mid to late 20s. I do have to dye my hair though regularly as it started to go grey a long while ago. I do admit to visiting my dermatologist once a month for various lifting and collagen-boosting resurfacing procedures but I feel like my daily intake of collagen supplements helped more than anything else. Also always wear sunscreen and never ever ever tan your face! My daily skincare routine is very simple; Daytime: cleanse, toner, vitamin-c serum, sunscreen. Nighttime: cleanse, toner, alternate between a niacinamide serum and a retinoid cream.

They mistakenly tried to fix the facial volume deficit with HA fillers and learnt the long, hard way how bad those are for your health and appearance (e.g. migration, swelling & water retention, Tyndall scattering as well as blockage of lymphatic drainage). As someone in the sciences, I watch Bryan's N=1 with interest. Frankly, I wish that he didn't feel the need to try to fit into the current standards of beauty. His biomarkers look great, his rate of aging has clearly decreased according to his labs .. actually I'd prefer to know what a truly healthy individual looks like. For years we were sold that a tan was the mark of health - we know that's not true. You do you, Bryan, and keep in mind that these additional treatments may slow your goals.

The way he looks in the photo at the 2:06 mark is wonderful-he looked so healthy there! Obviously it sounds like in spite of that appearance he was struggling with poor health, and it’s great that he improved a lot of his overall lifestyle, but ironically his appearance there seems healthier and more vibrant /youthful than what he’s looked like for the past few years. He makes a very valid point about how it’s unfortunate that people tend to focus on appearance rather than the underlying health of a person, and that people are dismissive of the incredible benefits he’s achieved simply because of his facial appearance. It is generally the case, though, that appearance is our first clue to the state of a person’s health, so it’s understandable to some extent. I think a higher contrast hair color and a bit of enhanced skin tone could go a long way to restoring more youthfulness to his look, whether from some natural sun (which obviously would defeat the anti-aging regimen) or some kind of high quality self-tanning product… regardless, it will be interesting to see where he’s at in another 25+ years, and whether all this will still be worth it.

Hi professional trainer here, love your content always watch when I have time. You don’t need to reduce your carb intake, what you meant to say was you want to reduce 1:13 your sugar intake specially your refined sugar intake. Carbs are very very necessary to your body and quality of life. While refined sugars are carbs not all carbs are refined sugars. Science has in fact taught us not all carbs are created equal. Trust me, I would love for ice cream to be a protein lol. However you need the carbs from grains, veggies, and fruits to have a week balanced diet, to retain (or build muscle), to add in the recovery of the body and so on. PLEASE do not cut carbs. Yes reduce fine sugars. That said metabolically speaking and well as psychologically speaking: everything is okay in moderation esp if doing a little here and there keeps you stable the rest of the time

I'm sorry, but I am soooo over people being obsessed with youth. WE ARE ALL GOING TO AGE, AND THEN DIE. FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO BE OBSESSED WITH. Be obsessed with learning new things, growing, teaching...anything but self absorption. I had my first kid at 16, second at 18, third in my mid twenties. I had a very stressful life and I didn't take care of myself at all. But I am about to be 52 and still haven't done shit to my face or body. No cosmetic surgery, no injections, not even a professional facial. And I hear ALL THE TIME that I look 10 years younger. And it isn't bullshit. I will clap for myself, because I DO look younger than all of my friends my age, including ones with work done. This dude chasing youth makes him look the opposite. He looks old and creepy, like a wax figure from a horror movie. Imagine that face 6 inches above yours at 3am when you open your eyes. Everyone needs to STOP IT. The key is happiness. He has wasted his whole life chasing youth instead of living. He will either die pretty young or live to be 100 and MISERABLE. IREFUSE to live that way..and I will keep WINNING OH.. and BTW....I don't have great genes and I have had MANY issues. After I spent a week in the hospital in Dec of 2020, I lost A LOT of my hair. It came out in MASSIVE clumps. I went into a major depression ...But I knew my 3 adult kids and 2 grandkids needed me. And I pulled myself up and went on. People need to look in the mirror and say "I am fucking awesome..fuck what anyone else thinks" ..and you'll be surprised how good you start to look...

@@nhinangiandoana study on ONE test subject is almost useless in research directed towards the public at large though… at best, all it could ever do is spark attention on a few very specific points TO BE STUDIED in actual clinical settings, on GROUPS of people, as double-blind tests. It might also be important to factor in the mental and emotional aspects when putting so much pressure on yourself, to please the people like Brian is saying here. Self acceptance gives a great deal of stress relief, self doubt brings the opposite. People who are very old usually have given up pleasing everyone from a reasonable age, so they did not have to carry that burden all their life. I think accepting our body and face, with the necessary care and applications should be a top priority for someone who wants to live a long and healthy life. Not caring so much about what other people think, to me equals being healthy and it gives us the stability to carry on with everything we love.
