Van Life To Living In A Truck Camper Full Time Solo Female - Winter Camping Adventure

Hello! I’ve been loving my switch from van life to living in a truck camper.
Today I’m going to take you on an adventure through the mountains, hopefully I don't get stuck in an avalanche! I’ve been loving winter camping! Today I’ll also show you my split board and how it helps me enjoy the back country. I’m also going to show you some of the gear that I use when split boarding to stay safe in the back country.

You have a nice travel setup there but let me make this one comment. Hope you dont mind. I would add Hellwig air bags and hellwig sway bar to the back. It will vastly improve your ride and you can level up the back

We have just discovered Hero PFD rash guard shirts. It's very similar to your avalanche protection . It's a comfortable rash guard that you would wear kayaking surfing cliff jumping anywhere where you need a PFD . BUT NOW you're just wearing a shirt... Love your channel. If you have the time run north of Banff all the way to Jasper taking in Lake Louise/Moraine lake and the Columbia icefields, you can hike up to the glacier or take a ride on them in one of the explorer buses from the discovery center and from Jasper cut back into BC and into Mt Robson park and then down through the Interior of BC it's an incredible trip with many places to boondock or get a campsite along the way.

Another great piece of gear to have would be a good headlamp or flashlight, or both in case you run out of daylight. A thrunite TH20 in neutral white, about $30- on amazon, is waterproof, takes 1 AA battery, and is infinitely adjustable. A good 1 AA flashlight is an ultratac A1, or a lumintop tool AA, each under $20- on amazon. Use energizer lithium batteries, which handle the cold well, carry a couple spare batteries, and your good to go. They are all small, and don't take up much room in a pocket or pack.

Nice ride even if it is a Ford..LOL. As a mechanic and a truck guy you really need to have a suspension upgrade to get that thing riding more level. Having the front end up like that limits the braking ability of the front brakes in wet and snowy conditions. Be safe girl.

Thanks for the tips :) It's way under payload and it's way more level than it looks on video. It's parked on a slope and my camera lens is 15mm. The 15mm lens causes massive edge distortion that's why the front wheel well looks so big. If you look at the front tire it's not shaped correctly haha. The back wheel well is in the center of the lens so it doesn't have distortion.
