@ LONG story: I'm just gonna explain some of the plot of the show for this since idk how much you know about it. steven universe is about gems. The gems' worth and purpose depends on the gemstone that they are. Diamonds are the most important, most powerful and biggest gems in the universe. Their powers are immense and they lead colonies of gems to conquer planets. There are originally 4 diamonds: white diamond, blue diamond, yellow diamond and pink diamond. Pink diamond, the smallest and (seemingly) youngest diamond wants her own colony, so the other diamonds task her with colonizing earth. Shit happens, she starts to love the earth, she wants to protect it, pretends to be a rose quartz (they can morph their bodies) and forms the 'chrystal gems', an army of misfits who fight for the earth. Pink diamond lies to both the other diamonds and the chrystal gems, eventually fakes her own death so she can stay 'rose quartz' forever and permanently abandon her role as a diamond, pretends rose quartz shattered(killed) pink diamond. The other diamonds get pissed, try to wipe out all life on earth, steven universe is born with rose quartz(pink diamond)'s gem and all that jazz. So as all gems are created to serve their diamonds, there's spinel who's role is to be a goofy, funny gem who is presented as pink diamond's friend, basically to entertain her. Spinel is really sweet and sometimes a little too energetic and over the top but overall just wants pink diamond to be happy. Pink diamond(rose quartz) is a big asshole though so she plans to abandon homeworld(the base kind of) to fake her death and live on earth as rose quartz. spinel follows her to 'the garden' where pink diamond tells her she wants to play a game. She tells spinel to stay where she is and not move. Spinel, who's really just exited to play a game, does as she is told as pink diamond warps away. This mf pink diamond leaves spinel's determined ass to stand still on her own in the garden for thousands of years (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`) Eventually spinel recieves a message displayed in the garden from steven universe about him creating peace throughout the galaxy yada yada yada. This is the first time she moves an inch in a thousand years by the way(gems live stupidly long) so yeah she goes ape shit and goes to earth to commit homocide because she's suddenly very edgy and yeah. Movie stuff. She's really just very upset about pink diamond doing her like that, it's a really tragic story. Hope you can make some sense out of this mess lmao

My father was my biggest hero. We’d do everything together, fishing, getting ice cream, going up to my grandmas house every weekend, everything under the sun. He would always help people, that’s what I loved about him. He would always help people, even if he didn’t know him. After my parents got a divorce, he told me he had a girlfriend. She had three children, all girls. I was so crushed, surely he wouldn’t change? And he didn’t, for a while. I liked that, it felt like he was loyal, in a way, like he wouldn’t change for anything. Until they moved into my childhood home, and the youngest of the girls had taken my childhood room. Most of my things were put inside of the garage. I had to room with the middle child until they would build a room downstairs. This is one small setback right? I didn’t care about that, as long as I had my dad, because I love him with all of my heart. But then, he started to change. His attitude was different, he stopped visiting me during the week, he didn’t spend as much time together. It was almost as if he changed, like it wasn’t the dad I used to do everything under the sun with. I lived with my mum, since she had custody of me. Since they lived with my dad in my childhood home, he saw them every single day. He didn’t have the same attitude as he did before. He started to do those things with his girlfriend’s children. He started to do things with his girlfriend that he could’ve never done with me, because he couldn’t afford it. I always asked if we could do the fun things we used to on the weekend, but he told me he had things to do with his girlfriend. That they had yard work to do, or they had somewhere to go. I never held that against my dad, I loved him so much. I loved him with all of my heart, so much that I could never cloud my own judgment of him. I just thought that he found a new sun. One that was brighter than what we ever had. I started to realize that this was not my father, it was someone new. I wasn’t mad, I could never be mad at him, even if it wasn’t. I grieved as if my father had died. But I could never blame him for loving a new sun. One that made him so happy. Dad, if you’re reading this somewhere, I love you so much. I miss you a lot, and I miss you. I wish you could have seen the beauty in my sun, because I always saw the beauty in yours.
