So this is a 22" K. Zildjian Intermediate Stamp Ride at a weight of 2125 grams that doesn't quite sound the way it's supposed to... There's probably a crack in a lathing groove that I haven't been able to find with my bare eyes. In any case, the cymbal seams to lack tension, making it an incredible dry cymbal that's more ore less just sounds like a cough. This could be fantastic as an effect ride (I believe Brian Blade used to have an old K like that), but not what you'd normally like to get from your light weight 22" Intermediate K's. Hopefully anytime soon, there will be a second video where I've found the defect and had it fixed and turned it back into a fantastic cymbal again.
