I have the same motor and same razor drifter but I’m have trouble finding a big enough sprocket to fit on the motor you got any recommendations?
@PatOutdoors10 ай бұрын
Are you referring to the stock motor at the beginning of the video or the MY1020 brushless motor for the second half of the video?
@joaquinhaines69210 ай бұрын
I’m referring to the 2000w motor used in the second half of the video

@@joaquinhaines692 for that motor, I usually use a 13-tooth 25H sprocket : amzn.to/3wnsIUh

Here’s a 15-tooth if you need bigger: amzn.to/42QDJd4

I'm doing this same thing. If you could show mounting the 2000w motor and exactly what chain and sprocket you are using, that will be amazing...thanks bro for this tutorial

Question: I built one of these kart and now need to reduce the speed to be kid friendly, I’ve installed a 3speed and it doesn’t reduce the speed enough. Do you have any suggestions on how to reduce the speed more?
@PatOutdoors4 ай бұрын
@@brandonbenjamin95 install the 3-speed switch that came with the vevor controller and switch to the lowest setting.
@brandonbenjamin954 ай бұрын
@@PatOutdoorsI’ve got that installed and have it on the lowest settings but need to reduce speed even more. Tried a potentiometer too and that barely did anything. Thought maybe you’d know of something beyond the 3speed for more reduction in speed.

Nice I might put my 60v 25ah on my razor I got the same 48v 2000w
@robburley949410 ай бұрын
Flip the sprocket on the axel to push the motor over, just a thought.

Great suggestion! I’ll see how much space that buys me

Amorge can make super small batteries. They have a 48v 20AH battery thats only 4.7 x 3.1x 5.8 inches
@PatOutdoors10 ай бұрын
Wow! Idk how they’re able to cram 20ah that small lol. I’ll reach out to Allan there

A controller upgrade wont change much on the XXX with out a battery upgrade. The chi battery for the XXX is over 2gs!! Just saw another company came out with one in the us, but i dont know much about it.
@PatOutdoors10 ай бұрын
The controller upgrade is the first thing I NEED to put on before I install the 74V battery. I can't do it after. Just doing it to prep for the battery upgrade (when that eventually comes in)

You should check out the ebox 2.0

I kinda want to.. but why though? Seems like it would be in between my 72V razor and my coming 74v talaria
@onionboy693410 ай бұрын
@@PatOutdoors yeah i get what you mean it is 60v 18ah. The price isn't to bad for what you get i think it would be a nice mini moto with a cheap controller upgrade you can push it to around 40mph but its all up to you
@PatOutdoors10 ай бұрын
@@onionboy6934 I would love to have one, but I just have no space for all these bikes lol

@PatOutdoors10 ай бұрын
I think a 48v vevor kit with a 13-tooth front sprocket, and a 48v lithium battery can net you about 30 mph
