Great decision making calling an uber. .. You and Carlson (hope I spelled it correctly…) are great partners, let me explain… good outings, not so good ones.. but HEY!!! These muttons are out of this world!!! I have not seen anyone, even those super resourceful… catching as many and as big as you did! I’m inspired cuz’, you know…. Not always doing the most right thing (or with the most appropriate 1-2 grant combo) you 2 did greater than the superstar mutton hunters. You are the most knowledgeable fishermen in the FL keys as far as I can tell and as far as being on the fish every time you go out. And your videos are sincere, that makes it special!

love watching your videos. wish i got down to the keys more often than i do. a couple things: on your basil you should cut off the extensions that have flowers on them. if you donj't it will go to seed and not produce leaves. second, for the throats or "wings" as we call em up here..... chicken sheers are the ticket!

Also on the side of the fish (all fish) there is a hinge in the bones that overlap, just run your knife into the hinge and it'll open right up, you can release it under his chin with a pair of wire cutters or kitchen scissors

Why don’t you install a basket on top of the rack over the rear tire? You could even use an empty milk crate and tie it down with zip ties. Then your steering won’t be compromised with all the cargo dangling from the handle bars. I’m glad you’re putting out more videos again.

Hey man! You should try some butcher/poultry shearers to cut the mutton throats out. I bought a $20 pair off Amazon and they are a game changer. I use them to cut through deer ribs and they are also great for chunking up small bait fish

it's a loop in the mono about 40ft from the hook that the weight is clipped to is where it broke. Sometimes the kingfish grab the lead weights and it breaks it at that loop

Great video dude... Hey if you want to feed your cat or even yourself? Take a table spoon and scape the back bone and ribs(both sides) with the spoon. You will be surprised how much meat you can get off the bones. Hint, it makes great fish alfredo with sauce and noodles? It's very easy to do and a good taste. Cheers from Ontario.

On the throat. There are two sliding bones on each side, If you find them you can slid the knife under the outer one and easily separate them. Makes removing the throat much easier. Once you separate them you can easily cut through that middle section at its most forward narrow part. Love your narration, Great video. Keep em coming.
