TJ as a fellow Z owner, the VDC the button does not fully disengage the traction control, there is no pedal dance for our cars so you have to go into the fuse box by the battery and pull out the 50amp fuse that is labeled VDC

Hey Tj, just a quick tip if you haven't already done this. On my 350z I noticed that the VDC (even while turned off) would still interfere with drifting. If you have problems with understeer and the throttle cutting out, I suggest you try to disable the VDC on the 350z. I'm pretty sure you can just unplug the VDC fuse inside the fusebox and it will fix it. Love the videos!

the pixels dont burn out on sony cameras, once a month the cameras do an auto pixel remap on the sensors to prevent dead or burnt pixels, even if there was, they fix it themselves and they're 100% invisible

You did a great job drifting TJ. When I first drifted a 240 fastback at the U Drift event in Vegas, I did the same reaction on my first connect drift. The adrenaline kicks in and it'll get easier as u go. Can't do it with the car I have right now but I'm trying to get back into it with a Drift car build that I'm getting for my second car. Great job! It gets easier when the suspensions there and as well as the tune for it. Keep it up! :)

he keeps powersliding and i think he is not using handbrake. Dude convert it to hydraulic e brake ken block style hahaha and use cheaper rear tires it makes it easier to slide. Nice driving though even if it has open diffs would like to see some suspension mods because that understeer is killing the fun.

Just cause its how FD drivers do it doesn't mean you need it. FD cars also are ridiculously overpowered just to make a smoke show but you can drift a 145 hp single cam s13.

Tj when u enter in the corner through it in sooner then what you are now and through it in more aggressively if you watch Adam Lz drift he turns away a bit and then flicks it in and cluch kicks at the same time idk if you have a good e-break but if you do or when you get one definitely practice using it more and using it to enter the drift and I know it's a lot harder with a open diff but keep drifting you seem rly good for you first time and keep moving forward

The under steer is partly your stock suspension, mostly because the open diff won't allow the back end out. Get a 2 way lsd like soon

I'm really proud of you man! I was starting to get scared that you wouldn't ever actually go drift after saying for a while that you wanted to, but you shut a lot of people up! Keep at it man, I'm finishing my sr20 build and then I will be at grange all the time! If you ever host events I'd love to come. If not, hopefully I'll see you at other events there. Definitely weld that diff and get coils and you will be progressing like crazy. You have a natural reaction of catching the car at the right spot and it will help you a ton in drifting. A lot of people get scared or don't think in the moment the car is sliding out and when to catch and turn back the wheel, but it looks like you naturally have the right reaction. The 350 will drift great stock power with the diff mod and better suspension. Hope to see you at the track soon man!

Entry angle and exit angle. The geometry of entering and exiting are the hardest parts. Once you learn that everything else will follow. throttle management when to clutch kick and when to e brake. of course lsd is your friend. stay awesome

To drift on an open diff you gotta come in pretty hot and engage with a weight shift drift, lots of hard foot brake, or simply engage using an e-brake.

Teeg, when you start to under steer you need to straighten the wheel until you regain static friction then you can begin to turn the wheel to full lock when the fronts slide. Also i thought the 180sx only came in right hand drive and lastly that was crazy impressive for your first time

I know youre just starting off but a key thing to learn is to use the ebrake. even just on simple stuff learing to get acquainted with it, is always a plus and will help further down the road. overall not bad for your first time!
