I love the difference between Jerry and Zach as far as both being car guys. One of them has 1 car to build start to finish, and sets aside multiple episodes to build it out exactly as they’ve always wanted. The other scrolls on FB marketplace making all the impulse purchases we all would love to make.

10:18 old timer trick... when cutting a bolt like that always thread a nut onto the bolt/stud, cut it, then when you back the nut off it cleans the threads up for ya... it works!

I started teaching myself and doing repairs as needed- brakes, cats, fuel injection, throttle body, suspension... which led me to Donut, which has led me here. I'm a new "car guy" and loving being in the club.

The best thing I ever got for bleeding brakes is a one-way valve, it was sold as a motocross accessory but ofc works for all brakes. Makes bleeding the brakes a simple one man job and no air traveling back up the line 👌

Pro tip when cutting a bolt, leave the nut on and cut flush against the nut, keeps you from having to clean up the threads and if theres anything left over, the nut will clean it right up. Preferably use an old nut.

Little tip to make the trim black again. I’d use a trim dye such as solution finish black trim restorer. It lasts for 6 months and is not at all like products like mothers back to black
