Neil, I know you have a rather nihilistic perspective of the young generation of car guys/girls in Japan but I really think it's not going anywhere. The reason I say that is because there are channels like Kota, Josh (e-ought) and others that are based in japan and rather young guys that go drift at multiple tracks. The amount of young people there is crazy. Not to mention the kids of famous drifters/racers like Orido, Kazama (?) the kid is like 15 years old recently drifting with Sammit. Dont worry Neil, I think the culture will live on. Thanks for all you do to keep it alive! Cheers

Im just relaying whats been told to me from young people on the ground and what we have seen in Japan, as I don't live there I'm not able to give a proper opinion, but when we chat and talk with young people it seems the scene us still declining, hopefully it keeps going but and new stuff emerges, just went to 86 fest at fuji and the amount of young people with BRZ/86 chassis was incredible, I guess they are embracing a lot of the newer cars that I might not be seeing at the events I attend.

These just keep getting better. All the little glimpses into the modifications you never see anywhere else. The brief glimpse of the mirror mounted gauge cluster. It makes so much sense to put them up there. All the 86’s and the van meetup were just wild. Not a corvette is sight. ✌️

Fucking buzzing seeing the RC stuff. I started the UK D1RC series with demos back at Rockingham at GT Battle and then Silverstone D1GB. Yokomo (CML) supported from the start. It's insane to see how far things have come since those days!

I was over in japan last year at yokomo yatabe areana aswell, couple of months after I was there they sadly removed the touge track, I literally went over just for rc drifting and had so much fun! probably went to over 7 rc drift tracks and 1 real drift track hahaha.
