Well done, for the motor is the 150 F range too hot, or is that considered the upper end of still comfortable. The other day I ran that on my car, motor high 140s - low 150s, esc was around mid 120s (was a monster truck though, I know the larger tires and all make a big difference), just curious.

What gearing are you using? Mod 1? What about rear tires and front tires? I'm running mamba monster 2 1/8 esc(6s) with a 1/10 tekken gen 2 8.5turn. This thing rips. But need more traction.

35/55 optional speed gearing. 45mm rear foams 30mm front ones (The 45mm ones are from amainhobbies) . One of the best things I did though was to fit the gpm rear brace which stops the violent wheel shake. On one of my '4-tec upgrades' videos I list all the upgraded parts I'm using also I fitted ceramic bearings all round, it'll now coast for 70-80ft off the throttle even from a low speed.

Will the 4800kv mamba x motor go faster on 6s than the 5700kv . I just want a mamba motor that I can get up to 130mph+ with gearing I want to find the gearing my self its funnier that way but I have no clue with motors. Hope u can help love the channel

depends on the gearing BUT given the 4800kv is going to be limited on 6s e.g. only 3s rated so will get very hot very fast, heat is going to be your main issue, too much heat will fry the magnets. 130 with a castle motor (3S) rated is going to be pushing it to the absolute limit.

it was running 5700kv castle in this video, I have tried it with arrma 4s though with that it accelerates like a rocket but not very high top speed even with 1:1 gearing

Driftomaniacs well the castle system isn’t a vxl system. Vxl is the stock system. Just like on arrma’s it’s the blx system.

Indeed I'd put the GPS on and it's normally been 100% reliable but today 19mph (Oh I think it was quicker than that!). I'll test it in my auto today and check all's well with it.
