I’m trying to find one of these in Europe, but it’s not looking promising and sure as hell not for 800 bucks. So, yeah, this was an absolute steal. You, Sir, have been truly blessed here. Enjoy.

Great to see and hear one again. I spent so much amazing time on one of those in the summers of 73 & 74 when I was in the USAF.

I so want to hop on that beast after you kickstart her. I’d love to just sit on the seat while it’s warming up feeling that 2T power blue-smoke two-smoke 😂🤙

My very first bike was a CT 3 which is a 1973 175 I believe that was the first year for the steel reed valve induction which helped with the low rpm power. awesome bike. I bought it from the original owner it had 599 miles on it. I loved that bike hadd it for years. rebuilt the top end many times and the crank and rod once. tuff bike just about indrustable. at the time I paid 500.00 for it.

I believe that you have a 1971, I had two 1972s you have the earlier version. Tank style was different in 72, look at the md# on your frame that’ll tell you

Rebuilding these is quite difficult bc junk yards and ebay is the only place for parts. I'm restoring at 73 dt3 and options are limited. Gonna be creative.

Wonder if parts will be hard for an rd350
