Great stream - coming to it late watching some game related content to improve my own gameplay. IRL my job is modelling gold between drillholes to figure out how much is there and whether it might make a mine. It's fun to see that get turned into a game, even though there might be one or two things that aren't so realistic (generally it's more like alluvial mining than hard rock mining). I like the way you guys operate - makes me wonder if you have IRL experience in a related industry?

Hey thanks for the comment, Yep you nailed it i use to be a drill hand in the Yukon for 2 seasons . then i moved up to Drill hand and stripping for the drill rig in a D11, and my 4th i got finally run a Volvo 950 before i was injured late in the season. for the past 7 years iv been doing youtube and playing games like Gold rush the game and now OUT OF ORE went from digging for real to doing it in a game LOL

what is the key to drill? I cant make mine work.

Same here. Even custom key binds don't activate the drill.

@@barral69 I fixed my issue. for some reason I kept wanting to hook up the the grading bucket attachment. some of the key binds are the same. I took off the attachment and hooked the drill only.. fixed.. I was still learning. use up arrow and down arrow to drill.

Thanks for all the great content, I'm learning a lot Where can we opt in to the Beta by the way? I don't see the option in steam properties

How to join the beta Right-click on "Out of Ore" in your Steam library and select Properties. In the Properties menu, click on Betas from the left sidebar. Enter beta access code: OutOfOreBeta Click Check Code. Once the code is accepted, the beta should begin downloading automatically.
