I heard that vinegar kills mould. Maybe worth using that eg to prevent mould in future. The brushes look great esp for tackling ingrained dirt rust etc. We're doing up an old house and some stubborn areas need dealing with.

I know you video was posted two years ago and you mentioned removing the old silicone that had gone mouldy, instead of removing the silicone, twist toilet tissue into a worm lay on the silicone and soak with bleach, leave for a few hours and the silicone will be mould free. Brilliant around upvc windows frames etc.

I'll have to try that cause the silicone in my shower is completely black and i've tried cleaning it but that doesnt work. thanks!

And here’s the best tip ever for cleaning tile and ceramic tubs - Easy Off Fume Free Oven Cleaner in the blue cans. It works like nothing else and has way less toxic smell than any tile-specific cleaners. Just spray it on, wait a couple of hours, and then pretty much just wipe away soap scum and rinse. Only the worst of it will need any scrubbing at all. Try it once and you’ll never use any else. You’re welcome!

Did you know you can clean it up with just vinegar , dawn soap and baking soda that’s a really good tip .

Someone else recommended dawn and vinegar but i didn't hear about the baking soda part. I actually plan to try that next time I clean the shower and see if it works better

@@BorsellinoHomeServices Don't mix vinegar and baking soda, the reaction of the base and the acid will produce what is basically salt water.

Just put bleack on the black spots on the silicone, soak toilet tissue in it and leave it over the mould overnight. It will all be gone in the morning and no need to replace it.
