you are dumping the water right beside the house lol. and it is also flooding that walkway which will make it stay muddy there. How about plumbing it to move the water away from the house and where it does not cause any muddy spots. most of the work is nice but that is an issue

The water was getting in thru the front of the house which we now fixed. The sump pump is installed toward the back of the house which goes down a mountain and not possible to return to the pump. Its hard to tell the situation from videos.

How does the water get into the basin ? ... either there's 4in pipe next to the footers or there's like 100 3/8-1/2 through holes on the side wall of the basin .. I didn't see either ?!

Judging from the video alone it looked like there is sufficient drop off to simply drain the water out without a pump. Is that a thing?

Very neat, but you dont show the installation of the pump, which is the main thing.

The pump itself is straight forward. I just placed it in the tub, used the furnco to attach the PVC drain line, connected the battery, plugged it in and tested it.

Silt from where? This pump was installed to collect above floor flooding. You are talking about a pump that collects water from under ground. We already waterproofed the front wall where the flood water was getting in so this pump is just in case a pipe breaks. Plus it helps lower the home owners insurance.

Best option for this job was out back down the mountain! The basement was flooding during major storms. I’ve seen storm drains and sewer lines back up and not draining properly in storms. The whole point of this install was to make sure the water is removed during storms

Customer moved in, a month later it rained hard, the front wall under ground leaked! She had two feet of water in the basement! So yeah she needed a pump

@@PHL_Brownstone That's an issue of managing water in front of the house. Like not having any fall away from the foundation. If the house is above grade there is no reason to pump water out it will just naturally move that way. Maybe you could argue it needs a drain but why a pump?

Water was getting in the front wall, I have another video digging down 10’ to expose foundation. We water proofed the front wall this pump was installed on the back wall. There was no under basement floor water problems! Now the pump is there incase pipes break because after we waterproofed the front wall the basement is bone dry

What are you going to do in the event of radon gas infiltration into the home now that you opened up the the floor in the basement

The basement has a radon extraction system already installed 2020. Every thing I opened up is now sealed up

There is no man made footing at this house, they layed the block directly to bedrock 😂 this house has zero settlement cracks and will never ever sink. We dug closely to save room and so far everything is great 😊

I used the 4” grinder and cut about a quarter to a half inch deep and worked great 👍

Water was coming in the front wall. Higher than the sump pump. The sump pump is on the rear wall. Front wall is under ground which is now water proofed! Rear wall is above grade. Look at some of my other videos and it shows the layout! Water is not seeping from below ⬇️ it came in the front wall now it’s fixed
