I love you Breedlove, but I’m curious. Aren’t all vegetables dependent on pollinators? And with honey bees being in danger, don’t people who have started keeping bees for honey really serve in the conservation of their species? I’m just curious. BTW, Can’t wait to try the olives!

I'm not a vegan but I get the concept of not eating honey. It's the same reason vegans don't eat eggs or animal milk. Honey is made by bees for bee consumption. And likely due to concerns about farming practices.

As a non-vegan, I know this might seem silly. If you investigate a little further, though, you’ll discover the practice of cutting their wings; burning hives routinely at the end of the season, killing all the bees; and interfering with natural behaviours. This may or may not be something you care about, but vegans do! 🌱

The only one thats has SOME hold is interfering with "natural behaviors", but humans use honey for so long that is very hard to really parse how bees would behave with zero human interference. they are basically domesticated.
