Canada seems to use F for room temperature, so that is probably the case. But in the past there's been numerous country ball comics that do the mistake of using US standards for non-US balls. I've unfortunately had to use Canadian hospitals including ICUs several times, and the only bad experiences I've had in all of those times is because of the government decisions to lay off nurses during the pandemic, delaying non-critical requests for ice water and stuff like that and lack of beds. But that's not the system's fault that was just government meddling. The thing I hear people complain about the most is having to pay $40 CAD for ambulance calls to emergency rooms, or paying $15 for pills that would cost 10× that for Americans.
