Happy New Year Emma! I’ve wanted to try Emma Straub for a while. Maybe 2023 is the year. Helen Oyeyemi too. Life After Life is genius.

I really recommend picking up Foster by Claire Keegan as well and watching the film adaptation (A Quiet Girl)! The book is short and the movie is PHENOMENAL 😭

A God in Ruins is absolutely incredible. Not sure if you'll enjoy it as much as Life After Life as it's a much more conventional historical fiction but, as someone who enjoys historical fiction, it's one of my favourite books. Both books were five stars for me.

I must've spaced out because I thought you were talking about a golden hair and I was just like..... how are you supposed to find a hair strand that's buried? That's crazy. But yeah, golden hare makes much more sense hahahaha

Do you love time travel time in series as well? Have you heard of Being Erica? Erica is not happy, loosing her boyfriend, her job, don't know what to do next, a therapist is coming in her life and brings her opportunities to do things different by traveling back in time.

I'm up and down with Ruth Ware also. But I have to say, I was disappointed in One By One. It was way too predictable! However, as reading, my mind did change quite a bit making me wonder. She definitely goes up and down on book writing.
