Our favorite hoodlum Darby Allin returns to the show for an in-depth interview about his life in & outside of the wrestling ring. Of course we'd be remiss not to talk about the TNT Champion's spectacular cinematic showcase with legend Sting. Darby reveals his first interactions with the Stinger, and how his background as a (failed) film student helped to influence the promos we see on AEW programming.
Darby explains what led to his decision to ultimately drop out of film school. Here's a spoiler: it involves an inflatable boobie and a bathroom stall. Yup, that's a real thing. We take an even deeper dive into the absurd as Darby recalls his ridiculous antics as a .99 cent store employee. Broken feet, TV commercials, and chocolate pudding are just a taste of the chaos...

Incredibly, insightful interview. Darby Allin is one of the few "new generation" wrestlers that I like. I've been a wrestling fan since I was very young. I'm not as invested in watching wrestling as I was growing up, but I still watch every now and then. When I do watch, it is usually AEW because their content is more entertaining and watchable than the current WWE product. This is going to make me sound like a "mark," but it's awesome that Darby Allin lives his gimmick. People know way too much about wrestlers lives outside of the ring with social media and dirt sheets, etc. It is impressive that a current wrestler wants to keep a bit of mystique to his persona. I believe that Darby Allin will excel as much outside of wrestling as he has in the ring. 👏🖤
