that's a big part how you know that the animation is top tier when A-1 Pictures actually put in the actual manga panels in. Then even making it better when Ishigami was celebrating in that rain storm that was the scene from the Shawshank Redemption.

@@punkanddarling4418 it gets even better. The best part is that when season 3 is over there will be over half the series left to do in the manga. The next project is an anime movie, but sadly the manga will be ending in 6 chapters on chapter 281.

Moon watch for Miyuki. Very fitting as a lover of astronomy, someone always willing to go the distance, and more obviously because he has fallen for Kaguya (also name of the moon princess of the folktale). The moon is frequently a motif for the connection of Miyuki and Kaguya.

While editing this video, I started thinking about this too. How fitting that Papa Shirogane gives Miyuki a “Moonwatch” 🌙 Saying: “This watch is for someone who’ll try to reach for the moon” 😳 That’s exactly what Miyuki is trying to do 😌

Sometimes people forget Ishigami is a 1st year since we've known him from the student council as the rest (minus Miko who came later) are currently 2nd years.

Three years, even. Ishigami's birthday is March 3rd, and the Official Fan Book lists Tsubame's birthday as April 4th. The way the Japanese school system works places them just 2 years apart, despite Tsubame being 2 years and 11 months older than him. (She's 18, Ishigami's still 15.)
