Mostly Japanese school I forget when, something like March start day where here in the states we start our in September. So while he can be around for a couple month of the next school term, he will have to prepare to leave to head to the states too.

Honestly, I thought the Ishigami "confession" scene was a little confusing... I'm not even sure, but I think when he said "This is to show how I feel", I think he wasn't even saying it for real; It's what the crowd around him thought he was doing. I've watched a lot of reactions for this show, and a lot of people were confused. Either they thought Ishigami did confess on purpose, or they weren't really sure one way or the other.

It is a bit confusing, it not something we really understood by only watching the scene, we needed some time to think about it and to read some comments to come to the conclusion that Ishigami tried confessed that he likes her, but giving her heart meant he loves her, something he doesn’t know he did/said because Ishigami is within the 10% of students that doesn’t know what it means to give a heart to another person during the festival… 🙆🏻‍♀️

It was clearer in the manga (ch 127) with extra narration at the scene (Ishigami having few friends, so explains him being kept out the loop and him thinking it was something to do for a token of appreciation). So Ishigami gave her the cookie as a means of appreciation and not as a means to confess (as 10% who don't know meaning). The anime cut down some of the narration parts that made it clear at the time (which the anime does sometimes cut down narration parts in general, sometimes it does make scenes run smoother, but didn't work as well in this case for clarity). The anime confirms he didn't though next episode by narrator.

Once Miyuki sets his sights on something, nothing stops him. Even Kaguya tried to go back to her old games, Miyuki wasn't having any of that. Also lot's of foreshadowing here in this episode.
