Brilliant video. I ran 500 feet of drip yesterday and will be running 500 more later in the season. I was wondering how to terminate the ends cheaply and you showed how. You now have another fan and follower.

I wish I had seen this video before I purchased 8mm tape. It's almost impossible to install on the valve. I use rubberized gloves and still can't get it over the ridges. Live and learn. I will say, I have a tool that looks like pliers that punctures the hole in the main line, easy and don't have to carry a drill around. Thanks for the great information!

Very useful information and the end cap idea will be saving me a lots of money. Can you please do a short video about the basics of your irrigation system. Starting from the water source to the final output. It will be helpful if you can reply me asap about the mainline diameter and what type of pipe you use.

Nice video. I suppose if you have a deep well clogging of emitters is not a problem, but do you have a filtration system too?
@RainDropFarms Жыл бұрын
we do have a pretty robust filtration system, but even so we find that we need to replace the tapes every 2-3 years.

There is a really cheap and accurate hole punch for putting the hole in the 1/2 inch pipe. I don’t think I would want to use a drill for that.
@RainDropFarms9 ай бұрын
There are holes punches that usually ship with the valves. We like using the drill for ease, when putting in hundreds of valves it saves our hands and wrists, but the cheap one works just fine too!
