The price has always kept me away from Pitbulls. Asiatees had 1.55 Braven Bloodaxes on clearance and I got a set. Haven't had a chance to try them yet. They are only 3.45" tall, so pretty tiny even by my standards. I'm hoping they like the humidity here in PA.

I’m working on my ascent with rattlers old chassis,I just got a 45kg blue case servo for it. I got losi 40wt today and shock seals should be here on Tuesday.

You need to get the servo on axle mount for tenthscalerc. That way you don't have to deal with the 3 link geo

I wanted to like the Pit bull rock beats I had so much… but the performance was just so meh. Even gave them a massive burnout to wear them in. Ran em a good bit too, and still they just can’t hang with proline predator or JConcepts green tires. And one of my long time favorite tires is the RC4WD gladiators that look like a Nitto trail grappler. Sadly they don’t make them anymore.

K so this predator weather thing is funny to me. I’m in ak and bought predator when I first got into it and they where okay, but man jc green is better in every temp. I’m talking down to 5 degrees f. Predator turns grey at those temps lol. Like a frozen brick.

well yeah, I never said Predator shines at 5º, I said it shines at around 50º. 'Round here, we get 5º, and 50º only happens a few months out of the year, so Predator (and all other temperature-dependent compounds) don't get a lot of wheeltime. No Predator in the entire fleet. One single set of Pitbull Alien, but it's on leafs so it doesn't much matter. They look the part. JCon green is the compound that all but renders ProLine irrelevant.

Yikes. £35 a pair plus £20 delivery to UK! £90 a set is beyond too much. could get a brand new FTX Ravine with 4 wheel steering for another £8 ! Siping the tyres that come with it and doing a few free mods on that would give me a whole spare rig . Amazed these tyres are still being sold at such ridiculous prices. Must be rich mans toys. I can only guess that folks in USA have waaay more disposable income than here in the UK. lots of cheaper tyres just as capable (or better) to choose from.

On my ascent,I have a gold dig box,what spur gear would you use to replace the steel 48P spur gear. I have a 14t pinion and a se1800 with the gen9 axles. It is real growly and the sturdy gear is a little eccentric. It’s like 1mm wider on one side.

Get rid of the steel spur gear. They’re awful for noise.

Your best choice is Kimbrough standard spurs (with all the holes.). They bolt right up.
