This is the Quickview of the 1.9" Pitbull Braven Bloodaxe scale tire in Alien compound. If I don't mention it in the video, these guys are REAL skinny.

I recently put a set of the 1.55 version of these on my newly lowered Blazer. They are only 3.45" tall so it looks like a stock Blazer on stock tires. I was shocked at the drive and steering they have for such little tires. I think what makes them so great is the tiny tread blocks make them basically pins. I only bought them because they were on clearance at AsiaTees for $26 a pair.

I was surprised by the outcome of these, I enjoyed watching these at the canyon 🙂

Those need a custom REVOLT insert! I typically run the firmer insert in the front and soft in the rear. To each his own.

Those would probably work great on a dually truck. Especially the rear.

The Bloodaxe is currently on sale for 34.34$ a pair in Norway right now. They have allso listed on their website the new, at least to me, JC Rock Block. I guess you have to get a set Rock Blocks for testing Mr😄

I'd have sworn that Pinseekers were wider than those. Pizza cutters can work pretty well in real life, too, but you don't look as cool at the mall. Surprising performance but way too expensive and narrow in application (all puns intended).

My first set of aftermarket tires were pitbull rock beast xl on an interceptor chassis fordyce build. They’re still on it today! They do get better and better as they scrub in. Would I ever pay that for a tire again, hell no and I got em on sale! Not when I can get tusks at their price. Honestly proline krawlers are becoming a big favorite for me. Even in G8 compound mine scrubbed in to be sooooo soft. I do spoil myself with sl3d squid inserts tho too. I need u to send me some canyon specials so I can try em out!

The Bossman is an even better Krawler, because it's not made out of G8.

Even at their regular price of ~$25, the price-to-performance kills anything from Pitbull. All Pitbull tires are too expensive. The same goes for their $90-a-pair shocks.

Try pit bull madbeast .. they are skinny ..with a dual stage i had to modify the middle insert. And yes. They suck in the wet at least muddy wet. They load up and dont unpack ..but the dry dust hot weather. Are amazing ..at least on my local terrain

Every, and I mean Pitbull tire is too expensive. They could all have nearly top-tier performance and it still wouldn't justify the price. The absolute cellar of price-to-performance is dominated by Pitbull.

@@James-dg7eb I had a set of Mad Beasts here for awhile, they were thoroughly underwhelming. Alien can work if the conditions are right, but Komp is pretty lackluster.

@CrawlerCanyon also. Not to be karen or pitbull fanboy ...but. your course is very high traction base line no doubt ..but in natural enviroments that vary. Which some of us do, plaus a different roll . I value your reviews and info ..but i crawl all kinds of terrain

Most places are selling them for $35-$40 per pair. Still high, in my opinion, but less than $50 for sure.

wonder how skinny they can get before performance suffers

I don't care for a tire narrower than 42mm. This one was a surprise, but even at whatever prices people are claiming they can get them for, still too expensive. I have seen the 1.9 for less than $40 a pair, which is ridiculous.

Umm... yes? It's a Braven, which means that there is a expensive 1:1 equivalent. It's also a SxS tire, which explains the skinniness. AFAIK, Pitbull/Braven "1/10" tires are scale versions of the very expensive 1:1 tires. They have a 2.2 of the Temco Super Puller that looks real interesting, but not at Pitbull prices.

@CrawlerCanyon I'm in Arkansas. Predator is ok here into the 90s. The XHX pins don't work for me past 70°. They're so greasy I ran them twice and decided they weren't for me and the sidewalls are shredded at the beads. At least they were cheap. 🤷

They tie up in 13th place with Predator Proline Ibex. They are the worst tire in the price performance, tied up with another Pitbull tire. Pathetic price/performance, if these were 60 bucks for a set, watch out. 100 bucks is a lot I wont talk about the looks. Dont want to say more bad things about them...
