Got one of these from RPM and....just wow. This body looks even better live than it does in the video. Just a magnificent job on the paint! The transmitter is much more comfortable than my $300 Spektrum and the off-set steering wheel is a nice touch that actually does add to the ergonomics of the controller. I bought the GTO as well and ,,,I,,,I...(speechless). The GTO is bigger and just as beautiful. Just FYI...the Camaro is a standard 260mm wheelbase so any 1/10 on-road body should fit. The GTO is bigger...with a wheelbase of 275mm...so finding a different body for the Pontiac could be difficult.

How's the material quality hope it's not similar to the tamiya's low cost models. I had a tto1e kit and nearly half the screws stripped with me barely torquing them down. Also not too sure with screw in wheels, reminds me of my buddy's hpi e10 and they'd always come out while driving. Fixed it with blue loctite but having to put some on every time you put the wheels back on is inconvenient.

Really a great video! Very well done!! I have one on order from a hobby shop that still has blue ones. I felt lucky to find one! I’m going to install an ESS One sound module, as I have several RC cars with it installed, and they sound awesome! Every RC truck/car I have, I upgraded to brushless (except my crawlers) but may leave this stock brushed. The reason being, I have a brushless Traxxas 4tec, and it’s a screaming handful without the included gyro stabilization. Without the gyro, it’s a squirrely mess. Running this stock is good enough for some relaxing driveway runs.

Gorgeous looking body! I like this one almost as much as the Charger and Chevelle...not to nitpick the amazing level of detail but those headlights look off. It’s like they used a lens that was too small and made up for it with the bezels. It doesn’t bother me that much but it’s worth noting.

I was in my senior year of high school when this car came out. Loved it back then and love this now. To get rid of body pins, could they shorten the post, put a small flat platform on top of pins and then heavy duty velcro on it and then a matching velcro patch on inside of body. Also a similar velcro attachments on side of frame and matching ones on inside body. Just a thought.

They need to stop using those what I call skateboard Chassis for these scale cars.... I mean yeah it's a pretty straightforward chassis. But what about using a frame chassis like a real car.... Like our trail trucks use... If they make a tube chassis or some kinda square metal chassis use the same style rear axle a element Enduro Trail walker uses or axial uses and run a metal axle to a scale trans and make it front motor and use short A-Arms up front.... How hard would that be??? Prob not to hard considering we got extremely realistic looking and trucks that work almost 90% as a real 1/1 pickup blazer ect works.. now that's what I wanna see. Only true super scale cars iv seen are ones ppl have built from the ground up or tore down a axial and lowered it ect
