Thank you for the detailed ride along. There aren't many videos I can find that you can see and hear what it is like, along with the different notification sounds for the technology packages.

While I'll never be able to afford one of these super-fine coaches, I still appreciate the craftsmanship that's gone into designing and building them. Thank you for showing us!

The trucker hat was a nice touch while driving the class 8 truck.

Smart start push button likely will never come to class 8 trucks but push button has been around a long time. The Freightliner FLD120 and Classic are common examples but still requires the key to be turned on. Also that yellow flip tab over the seat beat on the wall is the best thing since sliced bread. Locks pull your slack for the beat and flip it up to lock the slack in place so the belt isn't choking you.

I could see how a HUD on these rigs could be very useful.

The 2023 volvo comercial semi came with remote start usles for me but to a rv would seem like a good upsell. I'm also curious when "mirror eye" will be a option since a couple truck companies have them standard on their trucks?

I drive a 100' E-One Ladder Truck and it has a push button start, automatic headlights, cruise, and keyless entry so I think some trucks will begin to get the push button start and auto headlights in the next couple of years.

What kind of rear end noise are you speaking of at the end of the video. Mine has a high pitch whine that changes with load and silences momentarily when it's unloaded and goes to coast. Is that the noise you refer to?

Do you like the Freightliner chassis better than a Peterbilt, Kenworth, or Volvo?

Can you explain why the dash AC is better on a super C than an A? I hadn’t heard that before but good to know
@randyzive3 жыл бұрын
I would imagine it's because the in dash AC compressor system can pull power from a bigger engine on a Super C, than it can on a Class A. With the assumption the class A has it's engine all the way in the back of the coach, a class A would have to have it's own dedicated system for powering the compressor, and space limitations might limit what size power unit the AC can use.

Good video! I’m really impressed with the show haulers. I noticed a bit of static on your lav mic, you might want to adjust.

2 questions - Why don't they remove the trailer brake system for RV use? An integrated TPMS is of little use unless you can add the car or trailer you're pulling to the monitor.
@Performancetx3 жыл бұрын
Some people will pull air brake trailers, if you’d like to order a custom chass, we can accommodate your needs without a provision for trailer brakes. You can easily add monitors for your towed vehicle.
@stephen51473 жыл бұрын
@@Performancetx Doesn't that negate the convenience of having the TPMS built in?
@Performancetx3 жыл бұрын
@@stephen5147 monitors vs receivers. The monitors read, the receiver broadcasts the info.

Automatic headlights are a stupid simple safety figure. It requires a sensor and software. No reason not to have it on all their trucks.

I just got a 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum. It has the auto dim/bright headlights. I didn’t even know there was such a thing so I didn’t really care if my new car had it or not. But now that I’ve driven at night, it’s a great feature!! The Super-C has all of the other doodads that mine has like the automatic distance sending cruise, auto emergency breaking. Etc. I’m curious why they would leave something out as simple as auto headlights? Must be a trucking industry thing. I’m just at the beginning of being in the market for a Super-C that I plan on purchasing around this time next year. Selling my house and moving into a brand new one with all the bells/whistles. Can’t wait to get the heck out of California! Nice ride along video. May I make one tiny suggestion? Please have the videographer shoot forward more than a few seconds. I really wanted to get a feel for what the road ahead looks like from this perspective, including passing other large trucks. One question: Is this considered an RV in all 50 states with no special license required (like air brakes, doubles, CDL, etc)? Thanks!

I see a couple things wrong here. Just bc you have a cdl doesn't mean you know what your doing. Second the hood mirrors are there to see your trailer around corners and cars in your blind spot. A sensor will only do so much, stop being lazy and look driver, welcome to the big league now learn how to drive.
