I watched 20 minutes of this and had to walk out. I just could not waste another hour watching it

I feel like so many plot elements were shelved for the sake of the relationship of the besties and I feel two ways about it…I’m honestly glad they got development and was interested in watching them grow together, but then the rest of the movie had to happen. And any danger they were in was immediately alleviated because they had no real way to get out of it without luck. It’s a total mess of a movie but I appreciated the relationship and a few chuckles I had. Wasted potential for sure, middle of the road for me, too.

Caught this yesterday after watching Perfect Days and this felt longer to me. But I will say Beanie Feldstein was a standout for me.

I liked it better than you two but…still wanted more of something. And it had some obvious padding. Thanks for your insights

This was such a disappointment. A complete rip-off of previous Coen brothers movies, with each trope making me want to go watch any number of vastly superior Coen bros movies instead. The characters had such little development. It’s just “this one is shy and this one is wild!” but we don’t feel for them at all. Compare this to any other Coen crime movie (Lebowski, Raising Arizona, Burn After Reading, Fargo, No Country) where we get to understand the personalities & motivations of the protagonists, the big bad, the goons, the authorities, etc. Ultimately, it just felt like someone asked AI to make a Coen brothers movie about lesbians. Nothing original or fun here at all.
