Hey Cliff, I think you will (or are) enjoy your new camera. I have the gen1 canon sl1. I got mine right after it first came out on the market, my wife and I started to visit all the covered bridges in pa., still have a few to go. Mine doesn't have the wifi or flip out screen but still takes great pictures, don't do much video but not bad. Keep Wandering, Tony

Dear WW -- hope you enjoy all that new equipment and looking forward to seeing the fruits of your labor! The audio of the built in mic on this new camera is kind of muffled. Even with the treble all the way up, I still have a hard time listening to it. I think you mentioned that you might be getting a new external mic so that will be great. The audio on your previous videos with the old camera was crystal clear. The wide angle footage on this new one is nice though. Thanks again for making the videos.

Was there yesterday! Missed the leaf peak. It came early. I could not go out on the skywalk. Have serious issues with heights. Agree it is amazing for sure.

This reminds me of driving by my Grandparents farm, which is much loved. The barn is gone, the old stone mid18th century house torn down and a 400 ft. Chicken house built in the middle of the meadow totally blocking the view. All changed but the memories are priceless! My Grandparents left years ago and I do live in the woods I used to see from the porch of the old stone house, a beautiful woodland! I'm 3/4 of a mile from the old farm the way the crow flies. The area of your old farm is really beautiful with the added advantage of those woods right close to it, I can understand why you miss it so much but the place you live now has a gorgeous garden with that creek running through it. yes to more videos like this especially with the colors coming out more. Used to have a friend come pick me up on saturday and/or sunday and we'd go for a drive, don't do that anymore so I just loved this. thank you. I'd like to more about some of the stuff you're passing tho, saw several signs, maybe a plant nursery? and that stone barn at about 22.23..gorgeous!

Hey Cliff, all your videos are terrific. I live in Philly and particularly love the videos where your talking about the history, background, or wildlife of a particular area. I find it interesting and educational. I don't get a chance to see a lot of the parks and sites you visit especially in PA. I watch your videos just about everyday and plan on watching all your past videos, slowly catching up. Have you ever done a video in Philadelphia? Just curious since it would seem to be a departure from your normal hiking spots but there may be some areas that would make for interesting videos. Thanks for what you do, it's awesome.

Hey Cliff! If you're looking for a decent way to carry your camera and lenses, check out something like a Lowepro top loading shoulder bag. The Nova 170 AW has enough room for the camera with a lens attached, a second large lens, and it has a front pocket for any accessories. It's super easy pull out the camera. I backpack with mine.

This is slow TV. I first saw this style in Norway the camera was on the mail boat. No one talked. And in the UK a camera on a narrow boat. Some of these videos lasted all day or for hours. Thanks
