I love 2016 sorento design

I liked the Sorento, was cross shopping with a CX-9 but I think the CX-9 signature is better at the price. Better fuel economy, better interior, 2019 adds all the features I'd want. I will say kia infotainment is way better than mazda in every way, but with the CX-9 getting android auto, that's less of a concern.

Having test-driven both, I felt the Sorento's V-6 didn't have to work as hard as the CX-9. I'm also still a bit leery about turbos. Finally, if towing is a consideration, the CX-9 is rated only to pull 3,000 pounds, while the Sorento V-6 with AWD can tow 5,000 pounds.

Great Review Dave. Kia seems to be taking the "Honda Accord" approach to this vehicle in that they seem to make updates at least every other model year to keep it fresh.

Infact they have deliberately left out features from their initial 2016 launch and keep adding them back every year like 2017- DBL, 2018 - Rain sensing wipers, HBA, 2019 - LED headlights, front parking sensors, 8 speed. Whereas, europe even had self parking in the 2016 year itself. .

Ok going to be a bit critical here. How many times have you reviewed the Sorento and you still don't know which is the easy access side for the 3rd row? Your reviews also seem more like a spec read out. Could get a bit more detailed about the driving as well as comparisons with vehicles in the same class. A bit personal impression could add more value..
