Chris, this video truly gave me a knot in my stomach. I live in New Mexico. Needless to say there aren't many stunning British cars here. I have an MGB roadster and hope to do a race like this with my son. i now know that I will be restoring my little red rocket and attempting something like this before I die. I don't know much about the "automotive entertainment" in New Mexico but maybe the "Silver State Classic" in Nevada would appeal to you and your son. This link will take you to their entry form . There are a collection of PDF forms for entry. The accounts I've read about it sound sound similar to the current Mille Miglia. It looks like a lot of fun.
