Sounds redundant but changes need to be made in the lineup. That being said, even with this lineup the Habs could've done a lot better on individual levels. That was a disappointing game for so many reasons. I try to tell myself that at least they got a lot further than last season...

This team needs a huge cleaning starting with the GM. He fucked up getting all those fourth liners that are useless shits instead of getting offensive minded players. Trade everyone except Price, byron, radulov and weber. The rest are worthless. Paciorret can only score on empty nets or when they give him a pass on a silver plate, hes not a playmaker like radulov.

Price is not a playoff goalie, just like the Caps are not a playoff team. 10 seasons of failure. He plays really well against teams like Boston and New York during the regular season, but plays mediocre against them in the playoffs.Ironically, Rask and Lunkquist have terrible records against the Habs in the regular season but are able to step up their game in the playoffs. We will never win a Cup, or come close, with Carey. I'm not blaming him for all of our playoff woes but he is a big part of the problem IMO. How many other goalies in the league have been given 10 years to develop with a franchise without any success? Lunkquist is the only one who comes to mind, but at least he made it to the finals once. I think the problem is we put all our eggs in the Carey basket and hoped he would singlehandedly win us a Cup. Crawford, Niemi, Bishop, Fleury, and Murray prove that you don't have to be amazing to go far in the playoffs.

Does anyone else think that Radulovs kick save on the blocked shot tonight, equal or better any save that Price made this series? Disappointed in Price, Patch, Galchenyuk, and Webber... Expected way more out of those guys! MB is gonna feel the heat in his press conference... 5 yrs on the job and no further ahead. we had a good regular season. but means nothing if you can't play in playoffs. we need a scorer. and a center. and get rid of MB. I want a general manager that isn't afraid to make a move to make our team better rather than gambling. he gambled on depth scoring coming in but didn't consider our top scorers struggling. should've made an attempt to fix that.

I'm sorry to everybody who is a Montreal Canadiens fan but I have decided to no longer be a canadiens fan because quite simply, I have no more faith in this team and I do not like where this team is going... Throughout the past season, I have watched the good and the bad of this team and I was convinced heading into the playoffs that this year might be their year. But instead, we get a first round exist after blowing a 2-1 series lead. Now ofcourse, there were some bad bounces that swung towards the Rangers but you know how you cope with that, by scoring goals and that's where our problem starts. Max Paciroetty, our captain, our best goal scorer couldn't score one in this series and what is worse is that he just looked straight up lazy. When he isn't scoring, he is practically invisible. Alexander Radulov was definitely the best player for montreal, but with no offensive support to do win anything, why would he want to resign here this summer? Alex Galchenyuk, ever since coming back from his injury, has been a MAJOR disappointment! He has also been very lazy, not moving his feet, making the wrong decision at the wrong time, pathetic pretty much. At this point of his career, questions will start to be raised if he is truly is ready to become a superstar in this league? If no, there is no future for him in Montreal. Brendan Gallagher and Atturri Lehkonen have been the other best forwards this series and I have no concerns for them as they are probably the biggest positives the team has to offer. Paul Byron and Philip Daneault are very speedy but besides using there advantages via breakaway, they can't create much else with it as there forechecking isn't very good and they just waste their plays by dumping pucks into zones and chasing after it. Andrew Shaw was suppose to be an edition to help the canadiens from being bullied all the time and all though he has been in a more physical role, what else can you really say about him? Undisaplinary penalties, very very very slow and can't seem to move the puck very well. I feel very bad for Torrey Mitchell because he, toward the end of the season, had to earn his playing time even though of all the 4th liners in the rotation, he was probably the best one. Tomas Plekanec was playing so of his best hockey of the season in this series because he just seemed alive again because he worked for the puck for once, but he's aging and he may go back to the way he was at the beginning of the season.. The thing this team needed was secondary scoring heading into the trade deadline and what did we get? Fucking sandpaper. Guys like Dwight King, Steve Ott, Andreas Martinsen were suppose to be key pieces for us in the playoffs with their physicality but in all honesty, they haven't done shit as they were no where to be found and we were still being badly out hit by a faster team all around. And poor Brian Flynn, that's all I have to say about him... We also needed to prevent goals in smart and solid defense. Shea weber gave us that with his toughness and that shot, wow! Jeff Petry was pretty solid to like usual. But beyond that, Markov, aging and not a huge factor, Benn made some critical errors, Emelin, same result, and Beaulieu, honestly the most worthless piece of shit defensemen we have. I had such high hopes for him and no true response in his play, just terrible. 90% sure he's being moved this summer. And then, there's Carey price... Oh man, I feel so bad for him because he really gave it his all, unlike most players on the team. But the bottom line is Lundqvist was better. This postseason proved that Price can't steal a game as he also can't stop everything. That's another year of his prime wasted. The question is, what do we do now? With the lack of goal scoring, the disappointment on the blue line, and Carey Price who can't stop every single puck, what do you have left? Unless big time changes are made this offseason, this team is not looking good as far as Stanley cup contention goes. Which is why I have decided to abandon my team because of the hole I believe they've sunken themselves in. Feel free to respond to my longest comment ever with what you think but this is what I think. Since I have left the support of this team, I unfortunately am unsubscribing to this channel due to my lack of hope for this team moving forward. My channel logo will be changed soon so that's where all the confusion ends. I'm sorry if anyone in anyway is offended but I am entitled to my opinions and beliefs. It has been a great season but I've decided that a change has to be made as I can't take this stress of going through every step on my teams path to success just to witness them fail. Maybe next playoffs Pacioretty will score a goal. Him, Radulov, Dunealt and Galchenyuk made no effort to get lose pucks for most of the series. They just strolled around whenever they didn't have the puck on their stick. Meanwhile Gallagher, Plekanec, Byron and Lehkonen spent all their shifts cycling the puck in the ranger's zone. They just couldn't find a gap in their defense.
