I love the front end redesign better on the 7.5s but you’re right with the headlights, only the Rs have the dual drls and they do look the best imo. That dq381 is a gem! Enjoy your R!

I own the 290 Cupra, with stage 1 and some minor upgrades. It's an amazing car, but if you want to go beyond stage 2 go for an all wheel drive like the golf R.

Hey dude. I watched your last video. I had the same issue with shifting with a big turbo. Here's the answer. APR makes an IS38 TCU tune that runs the gears out longer even when you are putting around. And it's AWESOME! check it out. It makes a world of difference driving the car.

JackSpeaks yeah absolutely. You don’t have to build the engine but if you plan on keeping it for awhile I’d recommend doing so. Some people get 100k miles on the kit and some blow up after 5k miles. Modding a car is always a gamble but for the most part these EA888 engines are tough

Great vids bro - just subbed with the recent EPA APR ordeal I am stage 1 looking at 3+ now instead of 2 as it is no longer offered and your vids are helpful-- how is reliability I live in Minneapolis and travel a bit to Chicago and Sioux Falls for work any input or experience on long road trips? Can they tune to 91 or is 93 the lowest octane?

They should be able to tune for 91 octane. Stage 3 plus is a big jump with money wise and you really only notice it largely top end. I’d still go stage 2 and see if you want more. I have had no issues on stage 1, 2 and 3+

No longer have the R, sold it for the S4. Was trouble free for 10k brutal miles of hard driving and launches. And tbh I’d save the money if I were to do it again
