The bronze wheels look great with that blue color. Maybe it helps that blue is my favorite color 😂 It is a shame they dont make this Integra in a 2dr coupe. The price is absurd, but such is the case for almost all new cars. Overall seems like a great package but same issue as Honda in barely any options for customizing and individualizing the car.

This is incredibly insane, which they’re filled with greed, corruption, and ignorance for those who actually want it at the right price. Hearing someone talking about it is like “yeah yeah, that’s bad, moving on”. But when you’re being told up front from the dealers directly in person, that’s a whole another level. The purpose I went in for wasn’t even for the type r, it was to check out the new civic or accord. I had a 2023 A-Spec 6MT Integra for about 7 months and quite enjoyed it. Was looking forward to this car but the price threw me off big time even after getting to drive it. I think if it had the seats of the FL5 Type R that would help justify the price as the standard Integra seats are okay at best. I sold my Integra and moved to an RDX A-Spec as I have lower back issues from a bad car wreck some years ago and the seats were causing me some pain on my commute. But this and the FL5 just are an absolute blast to drive and maybe later down the road I'll be able to find an FL5 (Thankfully I have an ND2 Miata to use as a weekender/fun car too)

Your not wrong. Paying so much for a FWD based car is a bit silly. You could get a handful of new RWD based competitors for the same money. And two handfuls of RWD based cars that are 2-3 steps above on the second hand market for cheaper. Also as someone with a bad back too, try the Lexus F or F sport seats...

I ended up trading in my 6mt aspec as well. I wanted to wait for the type s but the price threw me off as well cause I didn't even think the aspec was truly worth its asking price. I ended up going with a 23 BRZ cause I am young and wanted a true sports car experience that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. I live in Ohio but often drive to Ann Arbor. There are so many bad drivers in Michigan nowadays. It's either left lane hogs, people who don't check their mirrors when reversing, or people that literally do not know how to do a 90 degree right turn. I was waiting to turn left out of a shopping plaza and this middle aged white guy in his red Ford explorer right turns into the plaza, crosses the solid yellow line into oncoming traffic and almost crashes into my car. The yellow line is literally in the middle of his car at this point. I honked at him but then he gets insanely angry. It's crazy how many people don't know how to do a proper right turn and believes that you have to give them literally the entire planet of space.

I'm not really heavy into performance now, plus I'm older and will be totally happy with something much more subdued, but if I had the money, and place to keep it, this would be my choice for a performance vehicle, and the hatch makes it much more practical and makes it much more desirable than a Type R, that I wouldn't even consider. And the ELS stereo is a very important factor. It's really nice with the gold wheels, and I love the Apex Blue Pearl and white orchid interior. Even an Integra A-Spec Technology Package this color would be nice, too, but not as awesome, but would have the ELS stereo.

@@Quattro46 I like the Civic Si, especially with the Bose stereo, but I want a hatchback for cargo utility, and the Si overkill to me, unless you like to race and mod your car a lot. The A Spec Technology Package is the more comfortable luxury version of the Si, like the Type S is to the Type R, plus you can get a CVT if you want, and the manual costs a bit more. But the win is the choices. The 1.5L turbo engine is not ideal to me, but it has 200 HP, instead of the 180 HP on the Sport Touring Hatchback, and the LSD with the manual. And I don't plan to abuse and thrash it. I never did that with my Buick GN and Impala SS. The biggest selling point to me is the ELS stereo. The rest is good icing on the cake.

This car is just a reskinned Type R. It offers virtually no additional features over the Type R. Reviewers have to mimic and stretch the few things they have changed like revolutionary 5 EXTRA horse power (oh my god!) and the “pops and bangs” exhaust that’s still worse sounding than the 34k Elantra N. Don’t forget the NVH worse than the 24k Mazda 3. It’s so luxury that the only luxury features is the ELS audio and heated seats (oh my god!) while your passenger uses manual seat control haha

@@ShaiyanHossain LMAO! Why did they put “pops and bangs” when that’s the literal pinnacle of “boy racer”? It’s “street” but needs to weight reduce exactly like the Type R and has more power AND boy racer pops and bangs? It’s more “luxury” when it’s actually more barren than every car half its price? It’s simply a Type R reskinned with a massive markup for Honda fanboys to buy. The Elantra N, because none have exploded so far, is 10x a better deal and has so called “luxury features” like heated seats too.

I just have a hard time figuring who this car is for. Competitors do what the integra does better and at a cheaper price too. Acura as of late has been pretty suspect and it feels like Honda doesn’t care as long as they keep selling CRVs.

I still get a kick out of the fact that Ford made the mustang ecoboost high performance pack years ago with 330 hp and 350 ft/lbs tq making more power than all these new cars STILL till this day while being substantially cheaper. Arguably much better interior and digital dash as well.

You can rent cars or approach dealerships with a request to borrow a car - offer them a plug in the video and they will likely accept a free marketing video. But have a few videos done already so you can show them some of your work. (no fancy equipment needed to start, u can use your phone)

This car will be a collectable , people. This is what the price is partially factored for. 10 years dowm the road, you can bet itll retain its value (at least 30k for a 80k) yes... thats the reality

I’d have the agree. As someone who grew up driving Hondas and Acuras in the 90’s, the whole point of these brands was VALUE. Regardless of how well they perform I just don’t see the value proposition with the CTR or ITS anymore. It seems to me that Hyundai is becoming what Honda used to be.

@@SonikDethmonkey a USDM DC2 Type R would have been $40k+ adjusted for inflation in 2023 dollars lol. Type R/S are never value propositions. Btw dont waste your time with a used M car when you can get a Camaro or Chevy SS or C6-C7 with better perofmance engineering for this much ;)
