Trying to learn some cool techniques with the drone footage. I’m definitely a rookie but I’ll get better. Truth is teamster union local driving jobs pay more than OTR company drivers. Owner operator businesses make great money but you live in your truck and spend weeks away from home. Heavy equipment mechanics with experience can earn over 100k a year, full benefits, and sleep in their own beds every night. Hvac techs can start their own businesses, workout regularly and date. Go to tech school guys(Hvac, welding, diesel mechanics, electrical,) invest in rental real estate, stocks, and start businesses that do not require you to live in a rig alone, no gym, no women, no life.

Brian To help with loads, check out a section of DAT solutions called Trendlines" ". It shows a map of the United States and it gives national rates for different types of equipment, as with you a step deck. Shows national rates for dry van , reefer and apparently some of the freight brokers are using it to help set rates with shippers. So check it out. But when I saw this on this brokers web site, flat bed and step deck were hot in mid west. So you up against the weather it looks like. Stay safe. If you talk to Sammy, ask him to get some yetti coffee mugs made with. Make Cents on them for his merchandise store. You too. Maybe get some merchandise going. Any way.....Get ur Done!!

I hear ya about that part of the country trying to make miles. I have a spa/hot tube run 3 times a month to Butte/Bozeman and Helena and it can be wild in the winter. Most of the time I get a backhaul of paper out of Usk Wa. back to SoCal which makes it even worse in the winter (mountains). I've had to chain three times in one day and only run 250 miles

What is your personal favorite truck? Mine has to be the Peterbilt 389 with a 6-7 Cummins. I don't think they have a 6-7 Cummins anymore as an option. If I had to go for a truck I go for a 2015 Kenworth T680. With a Caterpillar C15 diesel
