That bassline was very distinctive in the demo version of that track. It sounds like the module broke after that at some point, for the retail version.

Oh, the original bassline for this track! Whoah, sounds very much like the beta music. I don't know why the bassline sounds completely different ingame.

That's because the game's module player is bugged. It can't play very low notes for some reason and plays them at a wrong pitch which causes the instrument to be out of tune. It also happens in other tracks.

Exist a fan-remake of Driver for pc called Driver Syndicate.
