I'm from Brazil, thanks for the "Olá motoristas". Another curiosity is "Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas", which is on the map written as "LaRgoa Rodrido de Freitas". It was probably a dev typing error hahaha If you want to see all Rio references in-game, send me message

The devs also did a lot of typing mistakes with French in Nice Sadly this poor Lagoa doesn't have a blue texture for the water unlike the sea

I remember first getting to the Rio stages after beating the Vegas missions ( which were my favorite ), Everything was so calm, fun, exciting until that damn " Chase The Gunman " That level gave me carpal tunnel lol

You have to appreciate the attention to detail when looking back at the Driver series. I wonder what this game would have looked like if it was a ps2 game.

You can see Stuntman/DRIV3R to have a glimpse. Although they would not have had the time to do 4 entire cities with the level details of DRIV3R

Driver 2 was one of the first games I've played and I was so surprised when discovered there's a actual city from my country there and people speaking portuguese(from Portugual, but still impressive!) There's not much games set in Brazil so a open world map like Driver was a really really great experience and surprise.

Because real Rio is huge in comparison to Driver 2 version which can already take a few time to join the farthest points But thanks anyway, I also like to get non-US location in the Driver series, because it offers a different environment and you can discover new things

@@VortexStory This part of Rio de Janeiro that you have in Driver 2 is not so big, it's just a little piece of the center and south zone. Just like Driver 2, on the same day to visit the fort and Copacabana beach, Leblon and Ipanema beach, I visited Corcovado on another weekend, I did not do everything on the same day. I live in the north zone about 40km from the center, it took me about 50 minutes to get to the copacabana fort.

"De nada" (I'm Thinking if "Olá Pilotos" Wold be better than "Olá Motoristas", but, I Love see you trying talk Portuguese) But the representation of Rio de Janeiro in Driver 2 was really good. My father went to Rio in 2016, and he said that Driver 2 represented the city quite well.

Yes I used Google Translate but even in French, we could translate "Driver" to "Pilote" or "Conducteur" or even "Chauffeur" Ola to my brazilian viewers anyway, nearly 1 out of 6 viewers last month

I subbed recently and this is the best content too have been recommended too me, I'm a fan of the driver franchise and really hope in the future it can be rebooted especially Parallel lines as that was my favourite. I had Driver 2 on the ps2 and my mum would allow me too play on it for a few hours maybe 2 days each week. Unfortunately my memory card never saved Driver 2 tho so everytime I played only Chicago and Havana were the only lvls available but the furthest I did get once was Las Vegas never made it too Rio tho

There are more but usually I do one per video and in this one I covered more of them since they are not "secret/unused" (maybe Copacabana Palace since it doesn't stand out or Christ The Redeemer as you might miss it up there).

ReDriver 2 has its own set of codes since the programming language is totally different on PC (and that is a real port, not emulation)
