The company was probably trying to get discount or free delivery by fake damage. Coming from Reefer side you know Produce company receivers do this for discounted food. Such a scummy tactic used by these companies and only hurts the driver. Hope things get better Kev. :)

Roadside commercial inspections should be made illegal. Unless DOT can inspect you in a safe controlled area, NO INSPECTION.

I'm guessing she got blamed for not seeing the damage on the other trailer and she was going to TRY to blame you for the damage on the other trailer. Of course in the end that would not have worked because I'm guessing your paperwork had the VIN of the trailer on it and that trailer was NOT the one damaged. I'm finding that a lot of dishonest people these days are not very smart, so she probably hadn't thought about that. For those trailer deliveries, taking video would probably be a good idea and in the video show enough landmarks so you can prove WHERE the video was taken.

@@ridingwithkev Trusting your gut paid off. It allowed you to get in front of it. I used to ignore my gut and just think that all people were good. I have since learned that is not the case and there are evil people and there are even NPCs running a program to mess with other people. After I was saved 4 years ago, that stuff started to become clear for me. I actually believe there are NPCs with demons that drive down the road like idiots to mess with people and stir up anger and conflict. I just stopped reacting to them.
