Driver Afraid To Turn In Front Of Street Running Train! Train Running Down Middle Of Main Street

Car stops in front of street running train with left blinker on. Trains run right down the middle of Main Street here in LaGrange, Kentucky. This long CSX freight train has a distributed power unit, DPU, in the middle of the train. This is ex Louisville & Nashville Railway and trains use the old L&N frequencies to communicate on. CSX uses 161.370 for calling out the signals and the defect detectors are on this frequency. CSX uses 161.310 for the dispatcher in Jacksonville, Florida to talk to the trains on this line. 452.9375 is for end of train device and 457.9375 for front of train. This is another 2 trains in one with the leading section being double stack intermodals and after the DPU there are 89 feet 9 inch long auto racks. Precision Scheduled Railroading once again. This was an unusually warm fall day with temperatures reaching 80F. Notice all the fall colours and the clock next to the tracks does work. On this day there were a total of 6 trains that went through LaGrange. I was there for the 3 that went through in daylight. I also filmed a local freight switching 4 miles west of town and that video will be posted soon. That train did not go all the way to LaGrange but did return westbound to Obannon wye just outside of Louisville, Kentucky. In addition, I got lucky on the way home and filmed a special maintenance of way ballast cleaning train about 16 miles north of LaGrange at Campbellsville, Kentucky. That video will be out soon also.
