Hey! new subscriber here, great content! Grettings from Argentina, now living in Spain. Im looking forward to see Franco in a seat by 2025, however i think is a little bit difficult unless all the planets alings. There are some special caracteristics of Franco to bear in mind. Lets take out from the ecuation that he is good, fast, profesional and very mature and chill when is about racing. He has a huge extra that can be a big push to get a seat, he has growing really fast in terms of media and social networks, F1 post seems to love him as williams for the tons of hype that he has (mainly becouse as Argentineans we are really pasionated with everything related to sports), and also because we have not been present in F1 for a long long time. It clear that we have some great heritage of f1 drivers like our great and top idol Juan Manuel Fangio (only driver that won 4 different f1 championships with 4 different brands) or Froilan gonzalez or Carlos reutemann, but this growing can set to pressure on for example liberty media being a win win situation, great sportman and great marketing, another south american driver on scene will rise sellings on all southamerica soil and also thinking, why not, to have in the future a race there plus Interlagos. Do not forget that a few mayor sponsors came after the f1 confirmation (he is not a paid seat, as those few came later) So in terms of business, nobody can complain, in terms on talent, he is showing that can achive results, in term of popularity, he has just past the 3 million followers being the 8 or 9 most popular driver if im not wrong, but as i told you, hard to say that for the next year he will have a seat. cheers!

Thanks for a very interesting and informative video. I definitely agree that it would be nice if Carlos could replace Checo at Red Bull. Carlos actually has a clause in his contract that he can leave Williams even before 2025 if he gets an offer from either Red Bull or Mercedes. I think everyone would be happier this way, especially me. ;) Race engineers tend to be taken for granted but I do think that a big part of Franco's rapid development and ability to manage tires from his very first race has been the excellent rapport that he has with his engineer Gaëtan Jego.

Thanks for the video. Glad to know you had a good time in Argentina. I didn't know much about Franco Colapinto but last night I had trouble sleeping and I sort of binge-watched a bunch of youtube videos about him. By the time I went back to sleep I was already a fan... Plus I live in Bahia Blanca, Franco's father's hometown. I must say that apart from being an excellent F1 driver, he comes across as a nice young man, quite likeable and relatable to us Argentines. I wish him godspeed and will certainly follow the news about him from now on.

Great analysis and learning a little about the different aspects of F1. Many years ago I followed Reutemann, I had the privilege of going to an F1 race (I was a girl) at the Buenos Aires racetrack. And now following Franco!
