I always say on my channel that you absolutely make sure thet you get enough Sleep before you clumb into the sattle and start your Shift. I've driven tired and caught myself I pulled myself over and went to bed for a few hours to make sure that I'm awake before I keep going safely

Running beast mode, i still get sleepy! Stay away from energy drinks when they wear off thats a wrap! 1,2,3 flip crash! Before driving, get out and walk around, do a personal pre-trip, check yourself, physically, and mentally aware. before driving. Give yourself at least 30 minutes before driving.. Are you alert physically and mentally ready.

I think getting quality sleep is probably one of the hardest things to do on the road. It definitely helps so to get some exercise every day and stay away from the caffeine after maybe 1 o’clock in the afternoon but a lot of times what happens is You’re trying to make it to somewhere and you feel a little bit tired and then you drank a cuppa coffee or something to give you that burst energy to get you that little bit extra that you want and then now when you park you can’t fall asleep, so you just fuck around with your phone and then next thing you know it’s the next day and maybe you only slept five hours at night instead of seven and it gets to be a vicious cycle if you let it

It's what pisses me off about electronic logs. It can't account for the human factor. It almost forces drivers to drive sleepy sometimes. The machine does not know when you are tired or awake. Paper logs were abused but there are times electronic logs cause drivers to drive fatigued. I see it all the time.
