there is one crazy glitch i can remember. manage that the npc cars flips on the side. and then hit the roof from the npcs car. now you fly over the entire map

the Newcastle glitch happens in all cities if you just find the right spot and wait. for example Miami pursuit if you take the first right a van drives through the wall and pops up somewhere else later on driving past if you're there at the right time

It is a strange sound effect. It is from the 1978 movie "The Driver" where it was the sound effect used for large crashes, but it didn't really make sense there either. Most of the sound effects in this game come from that movie.

​@@holyboy1 I have not read this, but I noticed the familiar sound effects when I watched the movie a long time ago. As well as other similarities like the title of the movie and the parking lot scene. It seems like the game takes a lot of inspiration from this particular movie, as well as 1970s car chase movies in general. Where did you hear about it? Or did you find out from watching the movie too?

​@@JeremyPetho Yes, the same as you. I have known for years. Also the panic cries from that car park scene in the movie are similar to when you're trying to scare the passenger in the taxi mission in San francisco. Yes, the game is also inspired by Bullitt, and The French connection - the car chase in DRIVER 2 under the train tracks. Also, Tanner in DRIVER 1 resembles Frank Bullitt. There are probably tons more similarities but those come to mind.

There were also a sand ramp in SF, which let you to drive inside a quarter. I think I found it first. Later I found that gap in the training mission.

There was a car-garage that you could drive into, and the police wouldn't be able to catch you. They'd destroy their vehicles.

It is a small bonus city that is unlocked when the Undercover mode is finished or by using Gameshark on the Playstation version.

How did you get this engine sound?

I replaced the engine sound files with something different. I don't remember where it was from, maybe from the internet or The Streets of Simcity.

It is a bonus level with only a few roads to drive. It is unlocked after you finish the Undercover mode on PC. On the Playstation version I think you need a gameshark to get it.
