Brilliant. When I started playing golf, the local ‘range pro’ would have said ‘let’s see a few shots with your 9 iron first’. Hello again! Recently, an instructor saw me hitting a ball on the driving range with my driver and said that the butt of the club should point to my sternum and not my right left arm pit. He said, when you do that you’re blocking the shot. So, I’m going to my instructor and seek your advice to answer this controversial question. Is he correct? Actually, I did try it on the range and it did correct my shot to be more straight. Appreciate your help on this Chris.

A “full-shoulder-turn” starts the best backswings… then, just follow the ball with your Driver Head as far as you can…

Thanks for the feedback Mike and definitely something I’ll look to add, just bear in mind however that my swing is not perfect, I’m a golf coach and definitely have faults a flaws which have held me back so I’d always try and encourage viewers to listen to my instructions rather than trying to analyse my swing in detail, but agreed it would be a good addition
