Drone pilot here! To be clear, I was one of a dozen camera angles the director was using and by no means was I ever supposed to be the sole camera as shown here. I have a director telling me where to be and if you watch the full races you’ll see I’m used for a few seconds at a time. So when I switch drivers or pop up and look around it’s to help give him and myself a chance to get a feel for what’s going on or to try and figure out directions I’ve been given. Anyways, just realize this is not how the race is for the actual broadcast and the drone is not the live cam 100% of the time so a lot of what you see is me positioning myself for the director to use as the live cam. There's like 7 other drone cameras filming at the same time. When you watch the race live, the director switches between the different camera shots to show different parts of the race. It wasn't really ever meant to be seen from beginning to end... I think this video is about that specific driver/car that they follow the whole time

This is the worst camera I have seen on anything, no joke, no punchline, this sucks. A great race that just looks like RC cars. Way too close and way too much movement, they can't keep it viewable and are just trying to check boxes. This sucks. We need to do better than this or motorsports will never get a new viewer and will die immediately. Cool new stuff and it's packaged with garbage cameras to save a buck. Awful visual.
