Oooh now that's something you don't see everyday (on KZbin I mean lol)! Cool looking body style (but the lights setup on the front sure could use some beefing up...)

Great catches, always thought that DT ambo looked odd lol. Kinda like they tried to copy the FDNY ambo's with the 4 doors at the front with the box at the back but failed miserably haha :)

It's a very peculiar design. One would think they'd use a regular ambulance

it’s so they can fit the instructors and examiners in

I would like to ask, why does it have so many seats and even a box when it's just a driver training vehicle? (I know this is probably a really dumb question -_-)
@GO7HAM6 жыл бұрын
You do your driver training in groups of 2-4 at a time. So when out and about, you jus swap over.

Oh yeah! I guess that's a way to save money. Makes sense lol

So they can get used to the size of the vehicle they will be using under emergency conditions , no good training them in a car when they will be driving a big van most of the time . Vans are less maneuverable than cars and have very different driving characteristics.

stop calling us ambulance drivers!!! we are EMTS and PARAMEDICS!!!!!
@ce99346 жыл бұрын
Sotos EMS paramedics are the only ones with true clinical skill. The text refers to you as “ambulance drivers” because in reality that's what you are with you arent clinically practicing in the rear with the patient. You also forgot the fact PTS and Emergrncy ambulance crew are trained for emergency driving... and PTS truly are *ambulance drivers*

Alpha EAST as far as I know in London there are two types of EMS personel... technicians and paramedics both are trained in emergency situations with the paramedic being way more advanced...
@ce99346 жыл бұрын
Sotos EMS no, there are a lot more than that. Patient transport are usually non emergency, but they can respond on blue lights to cardiac arrests etc to start basic life support. They can also come across medical emergencies while generally working. There are the likes of HEMS and Advanced Paramedic Practitioners, and of course air ambulance doctors. The least skilled are Emergency Ambulance Crew, which in a way is replacing tech as its payed less and has almost no clinical responsibility. It's all left to the EMT or Paramedic, meaning EAC is quite literally an ambulance driver and basic first aider
@sotosems87666 жыл бұрын
so you are telling me that the EMS levels are : driver/first aider, EMT, PARAMEDIC,advanced paramedic, doctor?
@ce99346 жыл бұрын
Sotos EMS no, ECA/IAP (blue light first aided basically), EMT, Paramedic, Specialist Paramedics, Trauma doctors. Why do you keep mentioning technicians when the role is being removed
